Tenth Rabbit : Waxing Crescent : Text

If I remember correctly, this should be about the lunar new year right now!

Well, I think. I'm not really sure, to be honest, since the moons here are different and I haven't been able to see the one at home in so long...

But happy new year anyway!

Does anyone have an idea on which animal it should be? I vote for rabbit!

What do animals have to do with a new year?

In the lunar calendar where I'm from, every cycle is associated with a different animal, with twelve all together.

And there's a story to go along with the order of the animals.

As a matter of fact, back home it would be the year of the rabbit.

It always seemed unfair there isn't a bird or phoenix though.

Dragon, sure, but still.

And a rooster!

Roosters and chickens only barely count as birds. They're pretty brainless, you can't get a conversation out of them about anything, and they're kind of annoying.

Not like they fly either.
