What's been going on

My Grandpa has cancer. So, needless to say, this post has been hard to bring myself to write about. He had surgery on Monday to remove a cancerous tumor in his bladder that may or may not have gotten to his kidneys. It's been a rough few days but he made it through surgery and his doc will be able to talk to him about the pathology reports this

It does seem like the same people get dumped on over and over, doesn't it? I have a cousin like that. It always seems to be the nicest people. The irony of it is, your grandma is probably doing as well as she is because your grandpa has taken such good care of her.

You are all in my prayers. God is listening, but sometimes all we can ask for is strength to get through it. I'll be hoping for more than that, though.

I'm glad you had some fun, too. I loved Benjamin Button. I didn't realize how long it was either, until the end, when I suddenly realized I had to pee very, very badly. Movies are a great distraction during difficult times.

Cheesecake Factory and a movie sounds wonderful - Josh and I do that sometimes because the restaurant and movie theatre are right next to each other. :) I've really wanted to see Benjamin Button, but movies are so expensive out here I may have to wait until it comes out on DVD.
