It is morning and the sky holds possibilities
I am walking this path that you have walked with me
do you remember the landmarks that I pass
as I walk this road with you only my companion in my mind?
It is morning, early light fliters through these trees
and this path takes on different qualities than it did
when you walked it with me, late in the darkness of night
the birds sing a song that reminds me that you are not here.
Do you remember the way the ground felt beneath our feet
as we walked this path arm in arm? Do you remember the way
