The Hour Approaches

It is the eve of my surgery. I'm a little nervous and excited. This is a life changing surgery for me; looking at my ear and realizing it will be different tomorrow brings back a lot of memories. I guess no one can call me "Dumbo" anymore! HA HA

Not in recent history ... I've been so insecure about my ear since I was about 10, and yes, I was called names targeting my ear (ask Carlyn - even SHE used to make fun of my "bum ear"). I'm telling you this will be a great story for my autobio.

I have to say though ... the surgery was fine, but the aftermath fucking hurts! And this damn Percocet is not working! OH, and this 8lb. gauze helmet isn't too attractive either.
