I have to decide today whether to accept NYU's offer. Would you rather have a degree from NYU or Harvard?

I received my NYU acceptance packet today and I was awarded no funding. I have to personally finance $30K in order to do this, and it doesn't even include any living expenses. I am starting to wonder whether taking on this much debt is worth it. I am having serious doubts. I can hardly see through the tears!

Bebe and I are in Portland today for a meeting. I managed to find an Internet connection, so I can get my fix. I started reading housing guides for NYC and I'm scared! I am supposed to have two month's rent for a deposit and look at places three months in advance. MON DIEU!

As I predicted, I was not accepted to GWU or USC. This was my second attempt at a plan to move and start a career. If anyone can explain to me why this happening, please let me know. I have no idea what to do with myself now and I'm feeling pretty shitty.
