Today is the 24th of September. Sighted in M&S in Basildon this lunchtime: A box of "Christmas Chocolates".

*sigh* I'd hoped that we might be able to last until at least Halloween. I suppose there are only 79 shopping days left to go...

Last weekend folk brought christmas issue jaffa cakes and chocolate fingers too. Seems to come sooner every year, don't it?

Last Tuesday I saw the mince pies out on the shelves in Asda.

The most agonising thing I've seen so far is chocolate advent calendars with the sell by date of late November. That's right christmas chocoloate that is out of date in NOVEMBER!!! The world has gone mad.
