First Transmutation - Not Quite What I had in Mind....

[Edward Elric blinked in the bright sunlight. He certainly hadn't been expecting that. One second being stuck in some unknown black abyss with a literal sea of blood, and the next being in a beautiful, quiet, sun-lit garden. Ed looked back down at the little badge he had picked up.]

What is it then?! Don't tell me someone's transmuted my soul to this thing! [More sparks. Damnit. If he sends out sparks whenever he gets angry there's gonna be big problems.]

Where are we? You haven't seen a large walking suit of armor or a really annoying prince anywhere, have you?

[Tsuna shakes his head]

New Shaleton, huh? I never heard of it.

[Ed looks back down at his hands and huffs before looking back up.]

Please tell me you're supposed to be a human too.

[Good advice. Shame Luna doesn't heed it until a small bolt of energy arcs out from Ed and strikes her sharply in the back.]

[She leaps up from her painting and looks around for the source of the shock.]

[Ed picks himself up for the umpteenth time and stands on his tip-toes to see who he shocked.]

Sorry! [Aaaaaand he loses his balance again, falling on his butt. He growls under his breath and claps his hands over his cheeks to try to stop the electricity. He failed.]

I don't know what's going on with this. It's like someone stuffed a generator in my face.

[Luna brushes herself off, recovering her dignity with relative ease. She blinks over at Ed before smiling widely.] You are cute. I wonder what you are? We all have such strange names, here.

Slower steps might be a beter way to approach this.

[Even if he hadn't tripped, the coat gave a bit of an indication thatEd was a human turned...what kind of Pokemon was that anyway? It didn't matter much, though Satoshi was keeping his distance from the smaller Pokemon to avoid being shocked.]

[Ok. Slowly now. Ed picks himself up and looks at the...dog-like thing that approached him. Slower was better for this. He should have known that, but who has the patience?]

[Moving close enough to look at Ed more carefully, but hopefully not get shocked, Satoshi tilts his head.]

You're the first...Pokemon, that I've seen that has any unusual abilities, aside from myself.

Pokemon? [Ed looks down at himself. He wouldn't have chosen that name for...whatever the hell he turned in to.]

I wouldn't call it an ability. I don't really have a lot of control over it. What about you?

[Well, if she's going to survive here, she might as well practice this whole 'walking' thing... it's definitely going to take a while, but she isn't tripping over herself every couple of minutes now, at least.

...of course, it's still slow going, which means that when she starts seeing sparks she stays put rather than moving forward. Granted, given time to take in the rest of the creature-

[Ed looked up to see a dog's head looking over him. He had just flopped over on his back and was waiting a second before trying again. He rolled over and pushed himself up to a seated position.]

Are you supposed to be a human too?

[It was better to be upfront when it came to this sort of thing, since subtle species/plane of existence differences could be important!]
