A week since this new and strange transformation, and Conan had resigned himself to dealing with the current situation.  Until he could discover the reasoning behind the situation and the source of the transformation he would have to deal with this as best he could

Satoshi had been sitting and mulling things over when he saw the blast of water out of the corner of his eye. Since water doesn't just come from nowhere, he looks around, soon spotting the smirking Mudkip. But for now he doesn't greet him or approach him, content to observe.

Conan was the second he'd seen that had shown any abilities so far, and he's been thinking over what use each form had to the owner. He'd guessed that his own was only around a foot shorter that his original height, putting him right about four feet tall possibly, but a little heavier as well. But, he hadn't seen anything regarding any powers he had...except for that paint.

Conan had swiftly moved from discovering this new ability to testing the range and speed at different levels of strength.

"You've developed a useful ability," Satoshi noted, just loud enough to be heard.

He closes his mouth and cuts off the stream of water. "It's a ridiculous bility. Completely illogical. But I have to agree that it seems like it could be useful."

Kaito hadn't been stalking the Mudkip, honest. It was pure coincidence that he noticed the shrunken detective and he couldn't help but stare at the Pokemon after the little display of power.

"Whoa. You're like a miniature water gun."

... Not that Kaito was that much bigger than Conan as a Murkrow.

"Most waterguns are weaker than this." He would really like to figure out how the physics of this worked. Logically, there was no way that that much water could be contained within this body.

"Yeah, and most water guns have a water source." Kaito looked at Conan skeptically. "And I really don't want to entertain the idea that that was your saliva."

"I already removed that as a possibility." He says his absently. Isn't it normal to immediately attempt to determine the chemical make-up of such a thing? "As far as I can tell it is only common water."

[Conan might soon be jolted from his thoughts and his musings by the sound of warm applause.

Said applause is coming from a Smeargle a few feet away, having been perfectly positioned to see the jet of water emerge.]

He glances over to the dog-thing and blinks. "Luna, isn't it?"

"Oh, you remembered! That's very nice of you." She grins broadly and waves. "How did you do that? That looks a very handy trick to have."

When the blast of water shot right past him, Luke squawked and jumped back several feet in shock. A bit of it was instinct too - except while drinking he was so leery of water, ever since he'd woken up here.

"Wh-what the hell was that for!?" He snapped, feathers fluffed up in anxiety.
