Doesn't that depend on where the router is located? If you're in a town of the right size to have its own server farm, it'll put you in it. If your ISP's closest router is in the next big city, then yeah, it'll be harder to pinpoint.
My house has a router, which makes it tricker to find my IP (since checking my computer tells me it's 192.168.0.7), so I can't try it and find out. http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm puts me in the next biggest city (~30 miles away), which is likely where my ISP hosts its routers.
totally off topic, but I don't think I've seen that userpic of yours before, and I must say I like it (it's cute in a wow-those-glasses-are-something-else sort of way).
