The first thing I saw was the location title: Erie, Pennsylvania.
THAT'S MY HOMETOWN YOU GUYS
Unfortunatley there was absolutey NO EFFORT AT ALL made to make anything at all even vaguely resemble Erie, but still. Boy and I kept shouting out locations when they would say things like "in the woods, near running water" and cracking oursleves up. We actually now live in a really rural area outside of Erie and let me tell you there are plenty of deep dark woods and creepy-ass abandonded hunting cabins out here. I'm glad we have a chainsaw OMG ZOMBIES. dr. quinn medicine zombie is buried alive somewhere outside my house meep
Other thoughts:
- Sam was exceptionally pretty this ep. I usually divide my drooling between the brothers but last night was all about Sammy for me.
- Speaking of, when he rescued the girl? With one hand on her mouth and one cradling her head? OH. Those hands make me all aljfhehohfgh.
- Lots of good one liners this ep, I've missed those.
- I will not talk about melon-baller-eyeball-scoopy-thing
- Yay that Sam did not have to watch anyone die while he was restrained this week.
- I've never minded Bela, and was pretty shocked that she would have killed the boys without a second thought. I've been sure from the beginning that she was going to get some sort of reform. I do wish they would have had a full season to flesh out her storyline, I thought it was an interesting turn of events.
- They buried dr. zombie because Sam wants to keep him alive for a backup plan. I find the whole "let's be zombies" thing really out of character for Sam but I think I see where they are going with it. I just don't have to like it.
I'm sure I'll have more thoughts after a rewatch, all in all a pretty good ep, I feel like my show is back after my blind hatred of Ghostfacers and meh of Long Distance Caller.
