Vlad loves his wife. A whole, whole lot. :(

However, he's taken from before where they basically decide to split. Separation in Drageria among Easterners of their class/status being what it is (...even if they are rather unique in the scale of things) is effectively divorce, although I'm pretty sure they're not legally separated yet. And. Vlad's time in camp has been a little tough on his memories of her. When Catcher was in camp, he had someone who also frightened the living shit out of him to flirt around mostly harmlessly. While he was telling himself that it meant little to nothing, the way he felt after Catcher left pretty much put paid to that assumption and he's come to the conclusion that their separation may be a forgone conclusion

This is somewhat headcanon, but ghosts. Ghosts are very human things, but sometimes I think Hellboy gets along better with all the ghosts in the comics rather then the humans. They're detached from enough concerns and society that he doesn't have the same issue of fear with them.

His favorite is Midsummer Night's Dream! It's loaded with humor, and while Zidane really likes Big Fightan Scenes, he also appreciates wit. It's a play that he would like playing just about any part in.

What is your headcanon re: Lar'C meeting Noriko?

My headcanon is that after Lar'c bitchsmacks off the Space Navy adjutants (who would totally be there lurking), they go out and have hot chocolate and ride around Hawaii (in a convertible jeep because Lar'c still clearly loves the wind and all that) and then after watching the dawn together, they go to bed.

First impressions for Hellboy on Oruha?

Hellboy likes Oruha so far, for what it's worth. He does wonder why the hell she'd want to stay in a cabin with a chainsmoker and a bunch of noisy kids, but NO SKIN OFF HIS NOSE if he gets another person he can talk to in the cabin. He does feel fairly awkward around her because she seems so nice and he doesn't completely know how to deal with that.

Question: reverse at me?

Oruha actually thinks the awkwardness is kind of cute, so she may, uh, tease him a bit to gauge his reactions. But she thinks he's a nice guy! She's a bit curious about his job (and him), so she may ask him questions later. And the smoking actual relaxes her because Kazuhiko smokes and it's familiar, so it doesn't bother her at all.

They all wake up and they do morning things; everyone wakes up bright and early, except for Sakuya, who is nocturnal, and Hifumi, who is a lazy and also considerably nocturnal. LANCE SPENDS AN HOUR ON HIS BANG, I SWEAR. They are boring morning people who peacefully do whatever morning people do.

I'm almost afraid to ask this, but Hellboy's thoughts on Raidou?

Hellboy actually... really of likes Raidou, for someone who pings him sort of uncomfortably. He hasn't made the Raidou = summoner connection, quite, but he's a quiet and respectful kid, and Hellboy can really count on his hands all the pepole he knows that are both right now. So he's cautiously okay with talking to him okay. I can't say that he wouldn't react weirdly to Raidou-as summoner--he would totally do that--but he wouldn't be outright angry or dismissive.

Raidou tends to downplay the whole "summoner" thing around demons in camp. It's just... awkward.

He really enjoyed talking to Hellboy, although learning about the existence of World War II disturbed him a great deal. Hellboy seems to be on the gruff side, but Raidou can deal with that pretty well, and he's fascinated by how things work in Hellboy's world. He likes Hellboy!
