I don't even want to imagine how these stats compare to how many casualties our forces have inflicted on "those people over there." We can somewhat reliably estimate how many of our soldiers have been killed/wounded, but there's no way to tell the TRUE "human cost of occupation", which is the lives lost on the other side.

I'll get off my high horse.
