I don't like the electric guitar but it's good otherwise. She's definitely changed, the whole album has a very settled feel to it. To me at least. I saw Ani in April at The Fillmore in San Francisco. She was great. She played mostly older songs with a few from Which Side Are You On. I definitely didn't get the quitting vibe from her, although it was my first/only time seeing her live. As for the record, it's definitely a step forward after Red Letter Year. I'm pleasantly surprised with most of the songs. While it's not the old Ani I fell in love with years ago, I still enjoyed it.

New album? I loved the sound. It's really amazing what they did. But lyrics... as someone said on YouTube, it's too commercial and I would have to agree. Yes, it's not the old Ani.
