I agree, and I further challenge the assertion that you're fat, which is where I'm assuming this is at least partly coming from. Obesity is definitely a health problem, yes, but you are not obese by any measure and someone who says so is absolutely full of feces. You are beautiul, Devon Spier, and moreso than any thin little waif who says you're not.

disclaimer: this is from a magazine called "shameless". it's charged, feministy and just a little bit rad.

well, to start off, of course i'm fat. my build shows this. i have more fat on my hips because of their lengthy width (dichotomy, much?) and my thighs are broadcasted with more buldge than a skinnier person. in this sense, i am physically fat.

i know you're looking at the word wrife with stigma. but i'm simply saying that i am bigger. no shot at the self-esteem here. while i appreciate your compliment, i think you misunderstood the article. from a female perspective, it was far more about accepting physicality than an utterance of gloom or ugliness within. in fact, these words provided me with a voice of reason and reality.

although we all emulate feelings of limited self-worth and fat-phobia from time to time, it is important not to confuse the quantitative with the qualitative.
