MMMMMMMM this makes me so happy. I love how much H/C you pack into this, without it ever feeling ludicrous or overdone; I think a lot of it is the way you have Sam handle everything, very seriously concerned yet not utterly beside himself (as would any normal person)--that attention to who the Winchesters are, and what they're used to, really sells this for me, without downplaying any of what's going on. So awesome. <3 And it's such a gorgeous constellation of the blood loss and the emotional repercussions of 2x20, ugh, I think I wanna read this over again right now.

I have the hugest pout on my face now, thanks to that ending. So much beautiful h/c in this and I'm still left feeling sad at the end. I really like how you did this. I've always been disappointed that that episode had Dean jumping back to normal so easily, like he hadn't lost a lot of blood. Even if you ignore the emotional pain he'd been in, there should have been some kind of bridge between djinn and that night at the hotel. So this just fits in perfectly as far as I'm concerned. Wonderful job!

And oh, I'm in toootal agreement with you on the end of 2.20. Before the final scene happened I was sitting there like "aw yeah WHUMP and H/C bring it ON" - and then Dean was doin' pretty well and I felt fairly cheated haha.
