I love Elton John! There are a few songs that I just wanna bawl when I hear them.

Congrats on the one year of the date! I'm sure you'll manage well while he gones. Make the best of it and keep smiling.

congratulations on that anniversary :-) and actually, i LOVE that song, and it never makes me really sad, just thoughtful -- or if i'm alone and able to belt out into song, happy just because i love singing that one.

I would say your work environment really probably isn't the best for you considering your 'need' for frequent vacations. I must admit, i am feeling the need for a vacation, but I haven't had one in 6 months, so I guess I'm about due. It's not like i'm going to be absolutely miserable without it though.

Thinking about buying a condo though... that kinda squeltches my desire to blow money on a vacation. Oh well.

I hear ya, I hear ya! I really do need vacations though.

I guess in the back of my mind I know I want to move away from here; I would be much happier living in DC, lol. I think after awhile it gets to me being so far away from everyone I know, and people here are rather stand-offish, which I really don't like. I can't even imagine buying a place here, even though I could if I wanted. I'm very happy with my month to month lease which allows me to get away in the event I want to leave on a whims!
