If you skip it, I think you're missing the best comic book movie made ... which says a lot given my "I want to have babies with The Dark Knight" mindset. What specifically was spoiled? I went into it thinking "This is Whedon, so someone will die for maximum dramatic impact" and then applied logic to reach the correct guess as to who that loss would be.
I agree, it was awesome, start to finish. Can't wait to see it again, though it'll be at least Monday before I can go again. Stupid work...
Did everyone break out in laughter and/or applause and cheers in your theater, too, at that one scene with the Hulk in the fight sequence near the end?
I burst out laughing in soooo many scenes, but one of my favorites was the scene with Hulk and Thor - after fighting together against the enemies, they stop to regain some air and...*Hulk punches Thor*... xD. PS: Robert Downey Jr is just awesome...

My theater went wild during that scene - and lots of clapping and hooting for the Stan Lee cameo.
