I remembered Salima - though not the name, but I did remember the chase across the deck of the aircraft carrier, the fact that a young Marine had shot the man himself, who'd then begged someone to look after his son. So I was paying attention

I had missed this chp. Not an easy read, but a little hope at the end in the at least they are together point.
