New Bleach chapter out.

Yes, already, and this one felt like a relief of sorts after that last one.

Thoughts. )

as do I. I was so depressed after 502, couldnt stop crying for what seems to be eternity. Although I will hope forever, that Byakuya will be okay. That chapter give my hope a new push, because it seems to Ichigo, that Rukia and Renji are knocked out the same way as Byakuya. And after reading it over and over (502 I mean) again, I hope that Byakuyas apologizes are just about not being able to protect the most precious ones to him and not about dying at all. So with Ichigo screaming the hell out of himself, I still believe in Kubo and Byakuya und ofcourse Ichigo. He will suffer a lot more, I'm pretty sure of that (the fullbringer-arc has teached us that in a horrible way, right?) but in the end, he will have a hell of a fight

oh and now that you mention it, you're totally right, wheres Urahara and Yoruichi?

I think so, too. I think nii-sama might be just fine, and I think he'll make it out okay - though I won't feel good about it until I see him moving or talking.

Kubo usually makes Ichigo suffer for a purpose or to gain a new power, so I'm curious where this is headed. Shirosaki-san, maybe?

Urahara's with the anonymous swordsman, but I'm DYING to know where Yoruichi is. I'm sure she knows what's going on...

I'm worried the same way. And because I think tooooooo much about it over and over again, I'm now curios about how big Nii-samas part was during the last chapters. Beginning with Sasakibes funeral and ending with the hell of a figth. He has become something like a "maincharacter" and I'm not sure, what to think about it. does that prove, that Nii-sama will be okay or does Kubo turn it around just the other way? I'm frightend like hell (ah, sorry, Im pretty sure my grammar sucks right now)

Shirosaki? Oh, well, that would be awesome. I miss that bastard. It sure has something to do with the fact, that the villians cant take his powers away, dont you think?

I think it's time for some Shirosaki...

Kubo's stretching out revealing the identity of the "new" arrival far too much, in my opinion. By now I either forget that someone's arrived or I'm not that eager anymore to learn his/her identity. My money's still on Grimmjow though.

Yamamoto stepping in was surprising, I have to admit. I expected Kensei. But well, that Quincy made it on Yamamoto's shitlist by killing his fukutaicho, so I expect no kid gloves in this fight. Not that Yamamoto ever was for kid gloves in the first place.

I'm far less worried about Byakuya, too. He doesn't seem to be dead (for now). Gravely wounded for sure but luckily, that's not a death warrant in shounen. Although I have to see Byakuya breathing and kicking again before I stop being worried.

I expect it to be Grimmjow too, but yeah, the new arrival has somewhat lost its luster. I wonder if this is going to have to be a moment of Ichigo consciously choosing to accept Shirosaki in the way he had to accept Zangetsu? Zangetsu saved him from his powerlessness the first time, but this time, maybe it will be the hollow?

I imagine Yamamoto will incinerate everything. What a hideous thing to be on Yama-jii's shitlist. o_0

Yeah, I felt a lot of relief. Especially when I realized he actually still had a body and wasn't just a giant bloody smear. Whew. I want to see him moving around too, though.

Bleach is killing me lately.

As soon as I saw the new chapter was out, I read it and I came straight to your journal to read your thoughts on it. I just trust your judgment wholeheartedly when it comes to the manga and when it comes to Byakuya's fate, especially in this arc. I also feel a bit of hope. When Ichigo says he "won't let them die" it just pretty much certified Byakuya isn't dead to me. This manga would die for me if he were, I can't imagine Bleach without Byakuya. Naruto without Itachi has simply gone to the shits. I can imagine something similar happening to Bleach, even when it has awesome secondary characters like Urahara & Yourichi, Kenpachi, Juushiro, Kyoraku, even Shinji and the viazards are awesome (I can't wait to see them in action, I really can't!) So I'm hoping they won't take him out. I would mourn him, seriously would ( ... )

Aw, you're so sweet! I'll keep my fingers crossed all my predictions turns out okay. Yeah, I felt hopeful for the same reasons you did. I can't imagine it either, and my joy in the manga would take a huge hit. I wouldn't be surprised if Byakuya does die eventually, but having it happen this way seems too brutal and too soon.

I do...mostly. Kenpachi represents the "strength" of Soul Society and the fact that Buckbeard is fending him off with what looks to be an arm in that last panel of them is...not good? That said, I just realized - we haven't seen Yachiru AT ALL, and she's always around to watch Ken-chan fight. I've theorized before that she might in actuality be the form of his bankai, so...maybe something crazy will happen. Who knows?

And yeah, I'm pretty sure Yama-jii HAS to die. Shounen tropes demand it. Maybe not at the hands of this current baddie, but one way or another.

oh, well it seems LJ is no longer sending notification messages whenever i get a reply to my reply. sheesh! anyway, sorry this is so late in (it's been a week...) you think Byakuya really will die? i think they've gone through so much already and he's come through it alive (not unscathed) so i just think it'd be anticlimactic at this point and would take way too much from the series. well that and i'm also (very obviously) biased because i love Byakuya, i consider him the prince of Soul Society and without him Soul Society would be in ruins. he was willing to kill his wife's sister after he promised he'd take care of her FOR Soul Society-i just feel very passionate about him dying. i couldn't bear it if it were to happen. just sayin ( ... )
