And I was wrong; it wasn't what I thought.
I thought this would be the end of Yama-jii, but not yet - and as it should be, since he's theoretically one of the most powerful. Still, I didn't expect him to raise up an army of corpses to fight, so, there's that. I still like we're watching a slow march to the end here, but now I wonder: will he manage to mostly destroy Soul Society before he goes down, or not? His power is so intense I can't imagine the effect it's having elsewhere.
Any rate, Juha certainly has new attacks and he seems to be able to defend himself; I still expect him to win this battle. This chapter felt short and with the focus on Yama-jii there really isn't much else to say for now.
Kubo nii-sama is bleeding go help him.
