Past and future are related. But it is unfair to see the future while still attached to the past. Past are immutably fixed; while future are uncertain and nebulous.
At least, he still remembers the theory of eternalism, after being forced to take worst subject ever, History and Philosophy of Science during his final year of undergraduate.
No more room for sadness, Jun continues on living. The speculation was indeed true; Matsumoto was promoted to be part of the elite team in less than six month after returning from Seoul and will spend most of his time at the main building. This team focuses on profiling genetic information on the new virus in plant and finding way to combat it.

“Hey J!” Familiar voice calling for him.
“Hey Nino!!”
Nino reminds him of Ohno, but as it is unfair to keep associating Nino with Ohno. Nino is Nino and he is one of his friends. His new lab is actually just in front of the engineering faculty’s basement and he always noticed Nino there.
“What are you doing here? In the basement. Next to the vending machine.” Matsumoto asked, curiously while inserting coins to buy energy bar from the machine.
“Leeching on the wifi. Don’t you think our university is really weird? The strength of wifi here is better than at Level 1! Are they expecting some ghosts to play RPG game down here?
Nino paused.
“… And there is a plug next to the vending machine, and it is kinda warm here; you know. The heat generated from the machine. I like it” Nino giggles and continues focusing on his job; which appears more to be keyboard smashing to Matsumoto.
Matsumoto laughed after listen to Nino’s whine. This out of the ordinary guy never fails to impress him.
“J… “
“Yeah?”
“ Define constant velocity”
“Speed? Sort of like we driving? And the pace of our car?” Matsumoto grin. Physic is totally out of his league.
“Beeep. Velocity is a vector physical quantity. To obtain constant velocity, one object must content constant speed and direction of motion. If there is a change in the velocity, in sense of speed and direction; there are two conditions; acceleration or deceleration. However, a car with constant speed but moving in the circular path cannot be classified as constant velocity, since it moves towards different direction. It still classified as acceleration. “

“You guys fail to move together at the similar speed. “ Nino remarks. “J is the car that moving around, but in constant speed. Ohchan is the guy that moving at the same direction but gradually losing his speed, however, losing his speed in very constant manner. Do you get me? Like, 50 kmph, 40 kmph, 30 kmph… “
“What do you mean Ninomiya?” pissed off - with the heat, nonsense physic metaphoric words that non of it he can relate well.
“Ohchan is still moving at the same direction as yours. But. In his own pace. Remember that J. ”
Ninomiya’s word stung inside his head.
He gave out small grunt and nudge Nino with his elbow.
“This is why I hate engineer.”
Nino glared back at him “Well I’m sorry but I don’t know how to speak in bacteria language” before took his bag and gave out a plastic bag full with mandarin orange.
“Apparently Ohno san probably going mental with his lab work and decided to buy 4 boxes of oranges. Do you know actually last night Aiba gave out this weird recipe of orange curry and both of them tried to destroy my kitchen? And it was so funny because Aiba’s boyfriend is the kind of Ohno. He really can swallow everything” exclaimed Nino.
Matsumoto stared at the orange before peeled it. The fresh citrus tang gives him the taste of déjà vu.
