“Nii-chan pick that branch” Nino said pointing to some old branch that scattered around above the forest soil, just few meters away from them. San-kun run to the said branch and picked some of the branches as possible as his little hand could carry. After his hands were full, San-kun strudged back to where Nino and Fuu-chan have waited for him. “Good boy” Nino praised him, and intented to stroke his hair if only both of his hands did not too occupy with heavy branches.
After they did all of their business, the management decided that Arashi needed a rest, so they all got a week off. Then the ever energetic Aiba had an idea to go camping together since it's not every day they got a week off in the same time, and the rest of Arashi agreed to the idea, because they’ve got tired with the city crowd and its complexity, so it might be a good thing for them relaxing themselves with different nuance as refreshment. In a flash everything was set, Sho ordered the place, Jun brought food and kitchen utensil, Aiba bought two new camp tent (one for Ohmiya family and one for himself, Sho and Jun), Ohno prepared his fishing equipment because he was in charge for catching the fishes for their dinner, and Nino prepaed himself and his children (including Kii-chan) who would have their first camp experience.
After they set the tent, three of them for exact, because they forbid Sho to help them, pushing away the possibility of Sho bringing disaster by his hysterical reaction for every possible thing he might get into. While Nino was busy with the children, the other adults were busy keeping their stuff into the tent. After a nice lunch from Jun (he already prepared it since the early morning but it still tasted great). Everyone was busy with their own self. Jun was just laying in the long chair looking the sleepiness to come, Aiba tried to make fire by woods (the one that he couldn't do back then when arashi had their training camp) and Sho was there to make sure Aiba would not burn the tent down.
Ohmiya's family played in the river bank, Nino held Kii-chan and dipped his child foot until her ankle was drown and the infant giggled, kicking the water which made some of the wave went after Ohno. Then it brought a splash water war to begin. Nino raised Kii-chan up high whenever someone tried to throw water to their direction.
After some times they got tired of laughing and running around in the river. Ohno frowned when he saw San-kun running and took an empty jar from Jun utensil and returned back fulling the jar with water with mischievous smile in his face, a smile that resembled to his lover's smile whenever he thought of a prank. Then, his prediction turned out to be correct when he saw San-kun tiptoed to where Jun is currently sleeping. He wanted to scream, to stop San-kun but it's just too late, his 7 years old son already poured the water directly to Jun’s face, make the youngest member startled.
“Brrbb, Just- What-“ Jun said incoherently while wiping his face from water. “NINO!” He growled with his eyes still close, because some of the water entering his eyes. But it's not Nino’s voice he heard, he opened his eyes and met a giggling San-kun next to him.
“Uncle J come on, its holiday! don't just fall asleep here, come playing with us.” San-kun grinned and pulled Jun's hand. Jun sighed wiping his face one more time and followed San-kun to the river.
“Just what have you taught to them.” Jun said once he was close to Nino, but the older man just grinned back to him.
“I didn't teach them anything” Nino said clearly faking a shock face. “But I accept nothing less from Ninomiya’s children” He laughed out loud, and Jun just shook his head.
“Riida do something with your wife here” Jun shouted to Ohno and Nino splashed him with huge amount of water. “You~” Jun said angrily to Nino but the later already put Kii-chan in front of him to avoid Jun's revenge, and stuck out his tongue from behind Kii-chan.
“Yaps that what I get when I try to do something with my lovely wife” Ohno laughed, patting Jun's shoulder few times, while the youngest just sighed in defeat.
When the sun rolled down Nino, Kii-chan and Jun pulled themselves out of the water. Because they've wet enough, and Nino felt dizzy for staying too long under the heat. As responsible as he is, Jun padded off to prepare group dinner.
“Aiba how is the fire?” Jun asked Sakuraiba pair who didn't seem moving from their earlier spot.
“Zero~” Sho said mimicing his zero news tone.
“Maybe you should stop, it will be dark in a couple of hours.” Jun said again. Aiba sighed yet abiding to what Jun said. He started to gather the branches and lit the fire up.
“You fire!” Aiba pointed to the fire, “I will make you tomorrow!” he roared to the sky, Sho laughed beside him and nodded his head after Aiba glared at him.
“I think we need more branches” Sho pointed out to avoid Aiba’s glare to him. And it always succeed to distract the younger's attention.
“Yes we need more, I want to make a big fire” Aiba tension has returned, “Ah, Nino!” he shouted to Nino who just got out from the tent after put Kii-chan to sleep.
“Un?” Nino said back
“Can you help us searching for wood?” Aiba asked, a normal Nino would say no to this, but mother-Nino was not a normal Nino, he said yes to this, seeing that his child could have a little walk in the forrest.
“San-kun! Fuu-chan!” Nino shouted to his children who played by throwing the stones to the river bank. The children responsed to Nino's direction and Nino waved to them. “Come here, let's go to the forest, uncle Aiba need some help”. Nino saw his children speak something to Ohno and Ohno nodded to them and followed then to walk to where Nino stood.
“You want to go to the forest?” Ohno asked in awe, and Nino didn't blame his lover, because outdoor work was really not his type, but now there’s San-kun and Fuu-chan to be think about, Nino knew his children have tons of question to fulfill their curiosity.
“We need wood for the fire, and I don't want to pass this night in cold.” Nino shrugged. “What are you talking about back then?” Nino asked when he remembered about Ohno, San-kun and Fuuchan made a small talk before they went to his place.
“Un? Nothing in particular” Ohno said and Nino nodded in return.
“Kii-chan is slept in the tent” Nino said to Ohno. “Jyaa Nii-chan, Nee-chan let's go.” Nino said to San-kun and Fuu-chan. Since Kii-chan was born, Nino started to call Fuu-chan as ‘nee-chan’, and the same goes with San-kun who called ‘nii-chan’ since Fuu-chan is born. Sometimes Nino wondered if he should called Fuu-chan with Fuu-nee-chan, just in case he got another baby and Kii-chan would be ‘nee-chan’ too. But Nino decided to just think about it later, when the time has come.
“Don't be too long, it's going to be dark soon.” Ohno reminded them, and Nino nodded in return.
They searched for wood, which is not difficult since they were already in the forest. San-kun and Fuu-chan asked him everything that they found interesting. Nino didn't know the answer to some of the question, and when those time come, Nino would just said “Why don't we show it to uncle Aiba or uncle Sho, they must know the answer.” And by the end of their journey they had more things for Aiba and Sho to be asked despite of the wood, but Nino thought it will be fine since it’s Fuu-chan and San-kun, and they surely would approve it anyway.
“Daddy what time is it?” San-kun asked by his back.
Nino did his best to see his watch with his hands full of wood. “It's 15 minutes to 3 pm. Why do you ask?” Nino turned to see his son and daughter grinned at him.
“Nothing daddy” San-kun said and Fuu-chan nodded beside his brother. Nino frowned but decide to shrug it off. They walked back to the tent with Nino tried to point at what he knew about the forest. “Oh look that a cedar tree, and look it's a mushroom.” not so far from the tent, Nino saw a monkey hanging on the tree, and he shouted happily “Nii-chan! Fuu-chan look a monkey, look it over there!” Nino turned his head but he saw nothing. There was no San-kun neither Fuu-chan, there were only some wood that Nino knew must be the one that his children had piled up. “San-kun? Fuu-chan?” Nino shouted and his voice lost in the depth of forest. Nino started to get panic. “San-kun? Fuu-chan?” he shouted louder, but still got no answer. Nino dropped all the wood in his hand and run to where the tent is.
Jun was still cooking, Sho and Aiba was playing some games with Ohno and Kii-chan watching them in amusement, even Kii-chan's laugh could be heard time after time when Nino arrived in the camp place already lost his breath from all the running and panic.
“They’re gone!!” Nino said breathless and four head snapped to where Nino stood almost bent in half due to tiredness. “San-kun and Fuu-chan are missing!!” Nino stood again and the other could see the fear in his face.
Ohno was the one who recovered the first from the shock. He gave Kii-chan to Jun who already left his cooking, not forget to turn off the gas. “Kazu relax, tell us what happened?”
“I don’t know, we just walked in the forest, and then I saw a monkey when I tried to tell them, they’re gone. Ohchan they’re gone!” There's a tremble in Nino's last word, Ohno straightly went after him, hugging Nino to calm the younger down. “I've looked for them, I've shouted but they weren't there. They’re gone Ohchan," Nino kept repeating the words “What if something bad happen to them? What if there are wild animals in the forest? What if they fall down into a cliff? What if there's a bad people kidnaped them? What if-“
“Sssshh” Ohno hugged Nino tighter, “I’m sure they will be okay, maybe they meet another camper, or they find interesting animal” Nino nodded in Ohno chest.
“Sorry to said this, but there is no other camper around us, well to be honest, there is no other camper in this forest” Sho said slowly “We booked the whole place, remember?”
“But don't worry” Aiba tried his best to sound cheerful “there are no wild animals here, I’ve been here before for Shimura Doubutsen and there's only small animal living in this forest, and there is no cliff either around here.”
“And don't worry about bad people, I put enough security around here, and I think it is pretty safe to say that there is no bad guy around here.” Jun said and nodded to Ohno's direction.
“Okay we will go separately” Sho decide “I will go with Aiba. Jun, you go with Ohno.” Jun and Ohno nodded. “Nino you wait here.”
Nino snapped his head “No! I want to look for them too.” Nino started to wriggle in Ohno embrace. Ohno released his hug and cupped Nino face between his hand.
“We need you to wait here.” Ohno spoke slowly.
“But Ohchan!” Nino whined, disapproving the idea.
“Ssssshh" Ohno stopped Nino. “We need someone to wait here, What if they return and find no one here? Besides, Kii-chan need you.” Ohno nodded to their youngest daughter who looked from Ohno to Nino then to Ohno again andthen went back to look at Nino again. Finally Nino nodded. He took Kii-chan from Jun.
“Okay we will start from where Nino last see them and we will separate there.” Sho said and the other nodded. “We will call each other if we find something. You too Nino, call us if they have returned."
“Don’t worry they will be fine” Ohno said before kissing his and Kii-chan's temple and gathered with the other, leaving Nino walked aimlessly around the tent and snapped his head wherever he heard or see something. After half an hour Nino got no sign from his children and he hasn't gotten any news from the other. Nino couldn't hold his worry anymore, it's dark already, he slumped himself in the chair. Kii-chan has slept since ten minutes ago but Nino still held his daughter, because he didn't want to leave his daughter alone, he didn't intend to have another missing daughter.
Another ten minutes passed when Nino's phone rang out loud in the stillness of the forest. Nino fished his phone out, while shaking Kii-chan in attempt to make the baby, who stirred in her sleep due to the phone sound, return back to sleep. It’s from Sho.
“Yes?” Nino said terrified of the news he would encounter. He really hoped Sho would give him a good news.
“We found them” Sho said loudly. Nino sighed happily.
“Where are they?” Nino asked.
“They are playing near the lake” Sho said. Nino felt grateful. But then again, something tickled his mind. If San-kun and Fuu-chan play near the lake, there's a possibility of them to get drowned in the lake. It got him shivered, he hurriedly shook off his head passing out his negative thought.
“What are they doing there?”
“Eerrr~ “ Sho paused “Just wait for us, we have called Jun, they will be back in a moment” and the call was cut off.
Nino couldn't help but wondered about Sho strange behaviour. Why Sho didn't answer to his question? Was the reason hard to tell? Unspeakable and such? Nino knew he wouldn't have any answer right now so he decided to just wait for them to come back and urged them to spill out the reasons.
About 10 minutes later, Nino saw Aiba, Sho and his children coming from the path which Nino walked this morning. San-kun and Fuu-chan jumped happily beside Uncle Aiba.
“Daddy” San-kun shouted and wavesawd to Nino direction as soon as he saw him.
“Daddy” Fuu-chan's high voice was heard soon after and they both run to Nino's direction. Nino got to his knees so he could hug his children. This action was a bit difficult since Nino still got Kii- chan in his hand.
“Daddy look we found a pretty stone near the lake” Fuu-chan said and let out an adoring blue stone from her pocket.
“Wow it's beautiful.” Nino said and stroked her hair gently. “Daddy want to ask something.” Nino said softly, his original plan is he would get angry to them, but as soon as he saw them and saw their smile, all of his plan has flew to the sky, because they clearly didn't know that they had made some mistakes. “Where did you go?”
“To the lake” San-kun said pointing his finger to where he thought where the lake is.
“And why you went to the lake?” Nino asked again, but before someone could answer. Ohno's voice cut their conversation.
“San-kun! Fuu-chan!” Ohno ran “Thank God you're both okay” Ohno said and kissed his children's head. “But what you did is wrong!! You couldn't just leave daddy without any explanation, What if you get hurt and we have no idea where you guys are!” Ohno said sternly, but despite feeling guilty, San-kun gapped, with his mouth opened.
“But papa you should know where we are!” San-kun said and stomped on his little feet, and Fuu-chan followed his brother's little ministration.
“Papa knows where we are” Fuu-chan said whining.
“Me?” Ohno asked back, baffled.
“You asked us to be on the lake at 3 pm” San-kun pointed his finger to Ohno, Nino knew that pointing finger to someone older was a rude thing, but now his mind is too occupied with another thing beside teaching his son a proper manner. Before Nino asked what his son mean, Fuu-chan spoke out his answer.
“You said you want to teach us fishing!” Fuu-chan still whined, clearly disliking the situation, but she gestured rolling a fishing rode with both her hand, same things like what Ohno did every time he saw an uchiwa fan with ‘fish me’ words on it, and Nino knew Fuu-chan must have been mimicked that thing from his lover.
“And you said we shouldn't tell daddy, because daddy would say no” San-kun added, and Fuu-chan nodded her head again and again. “And you said if we got a big fish, then daddy would forgive us. We waited for more than an hour but papa didn't come at all, and it's getting dark, but Uncle Sho and Uncle Aiba came and said that daddy wait for us in the tent.”
Ohno frowned thinking about what his son has said, and suddenly it clicked, he did said all of it just before Nino took the child away, but he thought Nino will return before 3 pm, so he thought it wouldn't be a big deal, the sun would still shine enough for them to fish, and Ohno sure they could get some fish before the sun set but he completely forgot about it. “Ah” Ohno said.
Nino turned his head to look at Sho who smileturnedd apologetically to him as his look said, ‘that's why I don't want to tell you’. Then it made Nino's eyes widened.
Ohno felt cold air in the back of his neck, he turned his head to find a too-sweet-to-be-real smiling Nino.
“Now why don't we all eat? I’m sure Uncle Jun has finished his cooking.” Nino said in a sweet tone, that made the all grown up men shivered. But the children jumped happily clearly didn't realise what is happening.
“Ka-Kazu?” Ohno frightened said.
“And you too PAPA, let's go eat something” Nino said sweetly to Ohno, who now is really scared of what Nino would do, but his prediction hasn't surfaced, not yet.
After a delicious dinner, an animal tale-tell by Aiba, and a fantasy tale-tell by Sho, San-kun and Fuu-chan fall asleep in Nino’s lap, while Kii-chan has slept since the story began. They decided to call it a day and returned to their tent. Sho, Aiba, and Jun bid their good bye to Ohmiya's family. But before they entered the tent, they heard Nino's 'high' note which might be called as a screaming noice.
“OHNO SATOSHIII!!!” Nino screamed out loud, It made some birds flew away from the trees around them. Ohno winched and turned his body slowly, afraid when he felt murderous aura coming from the younger. “YOU SLEEP OUT SIDE!!!” Nino stated, Ohno made some plea expression, but Nino completely ignored him. “AND I DONT WANT TO FIND ONE OF YOU INVITE HIM TO YOUR TENT” Nino said to the other three, “AND DON'T GIVE HIM THE CAR KEY” Nino added to Aiba, who gulped and nodded obediently. Nino entered the tent only to come out a second after with a large blue yellow blanket. “NOW YOU CAN GO TO YOUR FISHES, I WON'T CARE!!” Nino shouted once and threw the blanket will full force, intentionally directed it to Ohno's head which then perfectly hitting Ohno's head until the head was covered with the large blanket. Then he went back into the tent trying to sleep with rage to his husband

“I don’t know, we just walked in the forest, and then I saw a monkey when I tried to tell them, they’re gone. Ohchan they’re gone!” There's a tremble in Nino's last word, Ohno straightly went after him, hugging Nino to calm the younger down. “I've looked for them, I've shouted but they weren't there. They’re gone Ohchan," Nino kept repeating the words “What if something bad happen to them? What if there are wild animals in the forest? What if they fall down into a cliff? What if there's a bad people kidnaped them? What if-“
“Sssshh” Ohno hugged Nino tighter, “I’m sure they will be okay, maybe they meet another camper, or they find interesting animal” Nino nodded in Ohno chest.
“Sorry to said this, but there is no other camper around us, well to be honest, there is no other camper in this forest” Sho said slowly “We booked the whole place, remember?”
“But don't worry” Aiba tried his best to sound cheerful “there are no wild animals here, I’ve been here before for Shimura Doubutsen and there's only small animal living in this forest, and there is no cliff either around here.”
“And don't worry about bad people, I put enough security around here, and I think it is pretty safe to say that there is no bad guy around here.” Jun said and nodded to Ohno's direction.
“Okay we will go separately” Sho decide “I will go with Aiba. Jun, you go with Ohno.” Jun and Ohno nodded. “Nino you wait here.”
Nino snapped his head “No! I want to look for them too.” Nino started to wriggle in Ohno embrace. Ohno released his hug and cupped Nino face between his hand.
“We need you to wait here.” Ohno spoke slowly.
“But Ohchan!” Nino whined, disapproving the idea.
“Ssssshh" Ohno stopped Nino. “We need someone to wait here, What if they return and find no one here? Besides, Kii-chan need you.” Ohno nodded to their youngest daughter who looked from Ohno to Nino then to Ohno again andthen went back to look at Nino again. Finally Nino nodded. He took Kii-chan from Jun.
“Okay we will start from where Nino last see them and we will separate there.” Sho said and the other nodded. “We will call each other if we find something. You too Nino, call us if they have returned."
“Don’t worry they will be fine” Ohno said before kissing his and Kii-chan's temple and gathered with the other, leaving Nino walked aimlessly around the tent and snapped his head wherever he heard or see something. After half an hour Nino got no sign from his children and he hasn't gotten any news from the other. Nino couldn't hold his worry anymore, it's dark already, he slumped himself in the chair. Kii-chan has slept since ten minutes ago but Nino still held his daughter, because he didn't want to leave his daughter alone, he didn't intend to have another missing daughter.
Another ten minutes passed when Nino's phone rang out loud in the stillness of the forest. Nino fished his phone out, while shaking Kii-chan in attempt to make the baby, who stirred in her sleep due to the phone sound, return back to sleep. It’s from Sho.
“Yes?” Nino said terrified of the news he would encounter. He really hoped Sho would give him a good news.
“We found them” Sho said loudly. Nino sighed happily.
“Where are they?” Nino asked.
“They are playing near the lake” Sho said. Nino felt grateful. But then again, something tickled his mind. If San-kun and Fuu-chan play near the lake, there's a possibility of them to get drowned in the lake. It got him shivered, he hurriedly shook off his head passing out his negative thought.
“What are they doing there?”
“Eerrr~ “ Sho paused “Just wait for us, we have called Jun, they will be back in a moment” and the call was cut off.
Nino couldn't help but wondered about Sho strange behaviour. Why Sho didn't answer to his question? Was the reason hard to tell? Unspeakable and such? Nino knew he wouldn't have any answer right now so he decided to just wait for them to come back and urged them to spill out the reasons.
About 10 minutes later, Nino saw Aiba, Sho and his children coming from the path which Nino walked this morning. San-kun and Fuu-chan jumped happily beside Uncle Aiba.
“Daddy” San-kun shouted and wavesawd to Nino direction as soon as he saw him.
“Daddy” Fuu-chan's high voice was heard soon after and they both run to Nino's direction. Nino got to his knees so he could hug his children. This action was a bit difficult since Nino still got Kii- chan in his hand.
“Daddy look we found a pretty stone near the lake” Fuu-chan said and let out an adoring blue stone from her pocket.
“Wow it's beautiful.” Nino said and stroked her hair gently. “Daddy want to ask something.” Nino said softly, his original plan is he would get angry to them, but as soon as he saw them and saw their smile, all of his plan has flew to the sky, because they clearly didn't know that they had made some mistakes. “Where did you go?”
“To the lake” San-kun said pointing his finger to where he thought where the lake is.
“And why you went to the lake?” Nino asked again, but before someone could answer. Ohno's voice cut their conversation.
“San-kun! Fuu-chan!” Ohno ran “Thank God you're both okay” Ohno said and kissed his children's head. “But what you did is wrong!! You couldn't just leave daddy without any explanation, What if you get hurt and we have no idea where you guys are!” Ohno said sternly, but despite feeling guilty, San-kun gapped, with his mouth opened.
“But papa you should know where we are!” San-kun said and stomped on his little feet, and Fuu-chan followed his brother's little ministration.
“Papa knows where we are” Fuu-chan said whining.
“Me?” Ohno asked back, baffled.
“You asked us to be on the lake at 3 pm” San-kun pointed his finger to Ohno, Nino knew that pointing finger to someone older was a rude thing, but now his mind is too occupied with another thing beside teaching his son a proper manner. Before Nino asked what his son mean, Fuu-chan spoke out his answer.
“You said you want to teach us fishing!” Fuu-chan still whined, clearly disliking the situation, but she gestured rolling a fishing rode with both her hand, same things like what Ohno did every time he saw an uchiwa fan with ‘fish me’ words on it, and Nino knew Fuu-chan must have been mimicked that thing from his lover.
“And you said we shouldn't tell daddy, because daddy would say no” San-kun added, and Fuu-chan nodded her head again and again. “And you said if we got a big fish, then daddy would forgive us. We waited for more than an hour but papa didn't come at all, and it's getting dark, but Uncle Sho and Uncle Aiba came and said that daddy wait for us in the tent.”
Ohno frowned thinking about what his son has said, and suddenly it clicked, he did said all of it just before Nino took the child away, but he thought Nino will return before 3 pm, so he thought it wouldn't be a big deal, the sun would still shine enough for them to fish, and Ohno sure they could get some fish before the sun set but he completely forgot about it. “Ah” Ohno said.
Nino turned his head to look at Sho who smileturnedd apologetically to him as his look said, ‘that's why I don't want to tell you’. Then it made Nino's eyes widened.
Ohno felt cold air in the back of his neck, he turned his head to find a too-sweet-to-be-real smiling Nino.
“Now why don't we all eat? I’m sure Uncle Jun has finished his cooking.” Nino said in a sweet tone, that made the all grown up men shivered. But the children jumped happily clearly didn't realise what is happening.
“Ka-Kazu?” Ohno frightened said.
“And you too PAPA, let's go eat something” Nino said sweetly to Ohno, who now is really scared of what Nino would do, but his prediction hasn't surfaced, not yet.
After a delicious dinner, an animal tale-tell by Aiba, and a fantasy tale-tell by Sho, San-kun and Fuu-chan fall asleep in Nino’s lap, while Kii-chan has slept since the story began. They decided to call it a day and returned to their tent. Sho, Aiba, and Jun bid their good bye to Ohmiya's family. But before they entered the tent, they heard Nino's 'high' note which might be called as a screaming noice.
“OHNO SATOSHIII!!!” Nino screamed out loud, It made some birds flew away from the trees around them. Ohno winched and turned his body slowly, afraid when he felt murderous aura coming from the younger. “YOU SLEEP OUT SIDE!!!” Nino stated, Ohno made some plea expression, but Nino completely ignored him. “AND I DONT WANT TO FIND ONE OF YOU INVITE HIM TO YOUR TENT” Nino said to the other three, “AND DON'T GIVE HIM THE CAR KEY” Nino added to Aiba, who gulped and nodded obediently. Nino entered the tent only to come out a second after with a large blue yellow blanket. “NOW YOU CAN GO TO YOUR FISHES, I WON'T CARE!!” Nino shouted once and threw the blanket will full force, intentionally directed it to Ohno's head which then perfectly hitting Ohno's head until the head was covered with the large blanket. Then he went back into the tent trying to sleep with rage to his husband
