Summary: Human cat beings live among us since 1600 century. They are officially some people's pets and enjoy being them. It's an awesome and pleasurable moment for everybody if one of them asks them to be their owner since only chosen ones have them as their pets.
Earlier today when it still was a bright morning Yuri asked if he could sleep this night in his own bed, since the agreement of sleeping in the same bed with Yamada for a month was still in force. Yamada kind of wondered why he wanted that but agreed.
Right now, it was already late and Yamada checked Yuri's room to confirm that the boy was sleeping. He smiled as he saw the cute face of his pet sleeping and then closed the door. When that happened, Yuri opened his eyes and got up from his bed.
Yuri has noticed that every saturday evening Yamada is watching some movie from TV. If on the TV didn't come anything interesting for him, the older boy would put some DVD and watch it.
This evening Yuri wanted to watch a movie with him but secretly. He knows his owner pretty well and he knew he's going to refuse if Yuri asked him to watch the movie. The reason for that is that he just doesn't want the little boy to stay up late and ruin his sleeping habits
Yamada sat on the couch and turned on the TV. He read from news paper that today will come latest horror movie that had been released lately. He grabbed a bowl with popcorn and placed them one by one into his moth while watching the movie.
Yuri was lying on the floor and licked his lips while smelling the popcorn scent. Half of his body was inside his room, there was a perfect view to watch the television.
The movie ended and Yamada switched the TV off. At that moment Yuri closed the door to his room quietly and tip toed back to his bed meanwhile Yamada walked to brush his teeth.
After brushing the teeth, the brown haired boy headed to his bed room. He could only cover his body with the blanket as the chibi came in running to his room. He jumped up on the bed and sneaked in Yamada's embrace, crying.
''Yuri, what happened?'' Yamada asked him worried but the latter didn't answer as he was crying.
The older boy turned on lights on a table next to his bed and then hugged Yuri and stroked his back until he calms down. After a while Yuri felt much better, he stopped crying but sobbed a little.
''What happened?'' Yamada asked him again but as before, the chibi didn't answer him
He only shook his head and sobbed. ''Tell me'' Yamada insisted. After all, he wanted to know what is going on with his pet. Especially when he's crying, how can he just ignore it.
''Ryo-chan will be mad'' Yuri said while sobbing and Yamada sighed.
''I won't. Tell me, Yuri.''
''I, umm, well… I watched the movie with Ryo-chan…''
''You did?'' the older boy was shocked to hear the confession. ''It was scary!'' the smaller boy cried. Yamada stroked the latter boy's head and kissed him on the forehead.
''It was only a movie, Yuri. Don't be scared, okay?'' the older boy tried to calm him down and Yuri looked up at his owner. He was really wondered that his owner wasn't angry at him at all.
''And I'm always here to protect you.'' he smiled while stroking his head and the latter smiled to him, too. Then Yuri snuggled more into older boy's chest and they slept that night with the lights on and hugging each other.

Monday has already arrived. Yamada was holding Yuri's backpack as he was walking him to school. Yuri slightly swayed from side to side being drowsy and held Yamada's shirt helm.
''We're here, Yuri.'' Yamada chuckled as he patted his sleepy boy's head.
''Hm?'' Yuri looked up and saw the school in front of him.
He pouted and leaned his head against Yamada's chest. The older boy smiled as he shook his head and stroked Yuri's head. He captured Yuri's head into his hands and then kissed him on the cheek. Then he handed Yuri his backpack and pushed the boy toward school door.
Yuri wear the backpack and walked inside his class meanwhile Yamada started to walk toward his own school.
A little further, behind a corner of Yuri's school was peeking one face. It was female's face and her name's Shida Mirai. She and her friend were looking at the two boys before they separated to their own ways. Her friend was leaning on the wall while Shida was standing with her arms crossed.
''Plan B'' she said as she turned around and started to dial a number on her phone. ''Wait! Maybe he didn't realize it yet.''
''It's okay. I like the B better. This way he won't be the encumbrance anymore.'' she brought the phone to her ear but her friend started to pull her hand.
''Shida! You can't do that. Change it to plan C at least.'' she tried to take the phone but failed.
''No.'' Shida pulled her hand and made the girl lose her grip.
''He might die!! What will Yamada-san say if he finds out about what you're doing!?''
''Are you going against me?'' Shida placed her hands on her waist.
''Only now but only--''
''How dare you!?'' Shida started to get frustrated and he pointed the opened cellphone at the girl's chest. The girl slapped her hand away and the phone that Shida was holding dropped on the ground.
''Listen--'' she tried to speak but Shida interrupted her. ''I thought we were friends!''
''Listen to me! What you're doing is crazy! You can't kill a person just like that! That's insane!''
''I don't need your opinion. I need to get rid of that little annoying piece of crap.'' Shida said as she picked up her phone and removed dirt on the screen using her thumb.
Her friend only frowned and Shida started calling to someone.

Meanwhile in Yamada's school. The brown haired boy's forehead was touching his desk, his eyes closed. He didn't get a proper sleep yesterday because his pet kept on climbing on him in a sleep.
All of the sudden his phone started vibrating in his pocket and he let a slight groan. He took the phone and looked at the caller. The screen was showing an unknown number. He frowned before picking it up.
''Yamada Ryosuke'' he answered the call and news that were said from the other line shocked him.
His jaw dropped almost to the ground. He pressed the end-button on the phone and grabbed his bag that was on the floor near his desk. Then he quickly ran outside the school.
''Yuri!! Are you okay?'' Yamada touched the boy's cheeks as he entered a room in hospital.
The boy opened his eyes and a tear ran down from his eye. ''What happened!?'' the smaller boy moved his mouth but couldn't utter a word.
''He got in a car accident.'' Yamada turned around and saw a doctor walked in to the room. ''The boy was playing outside when driver lost control of his car and knocked him. His foot is broken. He needs a rest and after couple of months he'll be healed. He'll better lay here for couple of days and then can be taken home'' the doctor said.
''Thank you, doc.'' Yamada smiled and the doctor bowed and then left.
Yamada turned back to Yuri as held the smaller boy's hand with both of his hands. He looked at him from head to toes, his heart raced while looking at the condition of the boy. His right foot was wrapped in a plaster of Paris, and there was IV tube going into his skin on his right hand.
''R-Ryo…'' the boy said weakly.
''What Yuri?'' Yamada moved slightly from a seat where he was sitting.
''It hurts, it hurts…'' tears were running down his temples from his shining eyes.
Yamada only pressed his teeth together as he looked at how his pet was suffering. He couldn't do anything, and that annoyed him. He tried to relax a little and control his emotions. He placed his warm hand on Yuri's cheek and caressed it. He tried to smile but ended up with tears in the eyes
''I'm sorry, Yuri.'' he whispered due to pain in his throat. ''If I didn't make you go to that school, this wouldn't have happened…'' the brown haired boy tried to put the blame on himself but Yuri shook his head.
''No, it's not Ryosuke's fault. Ryo-chan is not a predictor. You couldn't have known.'' Yamada only gulped as more tears started to flow down his face.

Yuri has been lying in hospital for three weeks and now he was allowed to go home to heal completely. Yamada was carrying him in bridal style the whole way to their house and then placed him gently on the couch. From his room he brought a thin but warm blanket to the living room and covered Yuri with it.
''Do you want something?'' he asked and Yuri only shook his head.
Yamada nod and then gave a remote controller to him. Then he touched his face with his hands and placed a peck on his forehead.
''Yuri, I have to go to work now but I called Dai-chan and he will be here in ten minutes. If you want something, just tell him, okay?''
''Un.''
''If something happens, call me.'' he said as he placed Yuri's cellphone on a table close to the couch where Yuri could easily reach.
''Hai.''
''Okay, I'm off.'' Yamada patted Yuri's head before leaving.
