Wounds (Ficlet)
Title: Wounds

Summary: Yamada started arguing with TaDaiki because one of them didn't protect his little one. In other words, wasn't there when Chinen clumsily hurt himself.
Three people are standing in a hallway of Hey!Say!JUMP house. These three are also members of the group and the inhabitants of the house. Three shortest members named Yamada Ryosuke, Chinen Yuri and Arioka Daiki.
Just few minutes ago Chinen and Daiki came back from their little sport event. They both held it just for two of them. On this day they went riding on bikes and jogging. They had to go to play billiards but after a little incident when Chinen fell while he and Daiki were making competition who'll be first at some spot. After the fall the little guy got some wounds on his knees because he was wearing shorts so there wasn't anything to protect his legs and now because of this incident, the little boy's boyfriend is going really furious releasing his anger at the penguin looking boy.
"Arioka, why didn't you look after him!?" the chubby cheeked boy yelled.
Tensed feeling ran up from Daiki's toes through spine to his head. Kind and sweet Yamada Ryosuke was no longer there. He was really afraid of the chubby cheeked boy. Especially when he knows how much in trouble he is after the latter called him by his last name.
"It was an accident, Yama-chan." the penguin reasoned while looking down.
"An accident, are you serious?!"
"Ryo-chan, stop." the squirrel tried to calm his lover.
It wasn't penguin's fault anyway, he was the one to suggested the race. He didn't want his friend to get blamed on for what he didn't do. Also Chinen was himself scared of his lover too.
"No! Listen here--!!" Yamada poked the penguin once on his chest and then got cut by someone before he could continue.
"Oi! Don't you dare to yell at my boyfriend!!" six eyes turned to look at the person who was approaching them.
"And lay one more finger on him, I'll break your whole arm." brunette boy stood in between Yamada and his lover.
"Go away, Takaki! I need to clear something with your boyfriend." Yamada said a little calmer.
"Clear what? He told you that what happened was an accident, the end!"
"Yeah!? I'm sure it wasn't!!" the chubby cheeked boy shouted out.
"Stop guys!!" Chinen yelled trying to stop the fight. He didn't want them to fight, they are all friends after all.
"Shut up, Yuri!!" the chubby cheeked boy yelled back, not even looking at the youngest.
The squirrel then rolled his eyes and left the three of them arguing in the hallway.
Yamada was glaring at Takaki who was winning the argument. He hated this feeling of losing.
"Come, Yuri!!" he tried to grab his boyfriend's hand but when he failed, he looked to see where is Chinen and realized that the little guy was no longer with them.
"Ah--!?" he frowned and went to search the squirrel.
It didn't take him long to find him as the boy was right in the next room which was the living room. He was sitting on a couch wiping his tears.
Seeing that his little one is crying, Yamada immediately rushed to him.
"Yuri, does it hurt that bad? The pain will be over soon, just let me treat them." he asked feeling a little guilty.
He realized that he shouldn't have stayed and argue with Daiki and Takaki when he had to treat the younger boy's wounds from the start.
"It's not the wounds!" Chinen smacked Yamada's hand away as the older touched his thigh.
"Eh, then what?" the older boy slightly frowned not understanding the latter.
"Nothing. Leave me alone." the chibi walked upstairs leaving the chubby cheeked boy confused.
"What have I done??" he asked wondering but too late because the squirrel was already on the first floor and going into his room.
Was he mad because he didn't treat the wounds right away, Yamada wondered.
Then a brunette came in to the room with the penguin boy while holding his hand.
"You yelled at him." Takaki declared the reason why the squirrel was angry. Yamada glanced at Takaki and then looked away.
"I couldn't..." he frowned. He was so focused on protecting the younger that didn't notice that he hurt him mentally.
Before the chubby cheeked boy went upstairs to apologize for what he had done, he grabbed some medicine with him. He opened the door to their room and saw his little one sitting on the bed with his knees lying straightly. It probably hurt him to bend them, Yamada thought. He walked inside and sat beside his lover. Chinen turned his head to look away while wiping away a tear from his cheekbone.
"Yuri, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you. I was just... so worried about you, I... I'm sorry, it will never ever happen again. I promise."
"Daijoubu..." the squirrel looked at his boyfriend and then smiled.
The chubby cheeked boy smiled too and then crawled closer to hug the little boy. Then after the hug Yamada placed a kiss on the younger boy's lips.
''Now let's treat your wounds before they get infected.''
''Un.'' Yamada started to get up from the bed and took wet paper from a small bowl filled with water and cleaned dirt on smaller boy's knees. Then he applied antibiotic ointment and covered the wounds with sterile bandage.
''Ready.'' the older boy said as he put all the medicines nicely on a table.
''Thank you, Ryo-chan.'' the squirrel smiled and hugged his boyfriend.
