One school and thousands of students. Each student, somehow differs from other. Sometimes some students gets under the bullying because of that they're different. And this is what my story tells about.
There is a famous group of students in the school. 7 persons who likes to make fun of those who aren't as rich as they are. In other words poor.
All the students try their best to avoid them or if they will get on their way, everyone knows that horrible thing permits. Even the teachers are sometimes scared of these boys.
Chinen Yuri, is the leader of this band. He is known as a nasty short guy in the school.
Today this group walked in the lobby, cool as always. Other students fearly retread to give them space. Chinen stopped as he saw his victim, Yamada Ryosuke leaning on the wall. He smirked and moved his feet forwards.
"Penurious." said Chinen, who walked in the middle of his tall friend group pass the brown haired boy.
"Haha look at his hair! It looks like he never did wash it!" One of his friends laughed and rest followed him include smaller one.
Yamada touched his hair wondering what's wrong with it. He looked at boys walking pass and sighed.
"Bastards." He whispered and walked inside the classroom. He took his seat in front of the class near window.
These bullying has been lasted for a long time, sometimes he gets really pissed off of them but still he doesn't care too much 'cause they never done more sereve.
Classroom door slided open and short guy entered the room. He walked to his seat next to brown haired boy's.
"Have you ever wondered, why don't you have any friends?" He asked boy but that one didn't gave him any responds.
"If you're poor, you will never have them." He didn't wait for the answer and continued.
Yamada only rolled his eyes to the window.

Lesson has started. Chinen typed something on his phone under the desk until he got a text message from his stepfather. 'Home right away after school!' it said.
''Asshole'' Chinen whispered.
Yamada looked at him a little wondering. Chinen felt his gaze and turn to look at him.
''What are you looking at!?'' Chinen said loud.
The whole class turned watching at them. Brown haired boy turned his gaze away and lesson continued.

School day was finished and how Chinen's stepfather told him he immediately went home.
Chinen approached his family's huge house. He didn't even pressed the door bell or knocked when the door already opened itself. Behind it was standing his stepfather.
"Hi, Yuri" He said with an evil smirk on his face.
"What?" Chinen asked annoyed. "Your mother died and you know what does it mean"
Chinen widened his eyes.
"No..." Chinen uttered a simple word.
"Yes. House, furniture and all the money goes to me. What about you, you can live outside now, bye." He closed the door without giving a chance for latter to say or do anything.
Chinen was shocked. Slowly like as he walked away from the spot, his cold tears flowed down his cheeks and one by one dropped on the ground.
However, Chinen had to stay srong. He wiped his tears away and started searching for a place where he could stay at night.
He knocked to the every house door of his friends and asked for a help but everything he was received with was the door slam in front of his face. Suddenly, for some reason everyone tuner their back to him and he didn't know why.
What so wrong he did to gain this pain. He didn't understand.
Almost hopless Chinen just walked somewhere.
Now he looked around first time since lastest door slam. He saw the old building. He was sure that no one can live there and that it can't belong to anyone. He ran over there. It was the only place where he could go right now. He curled into a small ball in the corner to stay warm throuth all the night.
Chinen tried sleeping but it was useless. It was too cold outside. He heard some sounds in the other corner. He looked clearlier what was there and saw a small box from where a puppy peeked at him.
He smiled to the puppy and stretched a hand toward it. ''Come here.'' He said.
A puppy jumped out and carefully walked to Yuri. Puppy sniffed his hand and then crawled on his lap. Chinen stroked puppy and then hugged it.
''You got abandoned too?'' He wondered.
''Do you have a name? What if I name you 'Kou', do you like it?'' And puppy licked his nose. Chinen laughed slightly.
''Jya then, Kou.''
Yamada's POV
It's already next day. I'm so tired. I don't want to go at school but I have to.
Walking in a lobby I bumped into someone and that person fell. Soon I realize that it was Chinen-san and this is totally bad. He stood up while I rased the book that dropped from him. I stretched him a book and bowed.
''Sumimasen!'' I said. The next phrase made me surprise. ''It's okay.'' He took his book and closed it to his chest. I never saw him like that. It's like a different Chinen Yuri from before.
I can't believe it but I feel somewhat worry towards him. Saddness discharge out of him and I can see it from his face. ''Are you okay?'' I asked him. It took him for a while to reply. ''Un.'' He nod and walked pass me
Some hours later, three of his friends was visiting him in a class room.
''Are you coming Chii?'' One of them asked as they approached him. ''No.'' Chinen seemed very angry with them.
''What's wrong with you?'' ''What's wrong with me!? My stepfather--'' Chinen was saying something but then he turned behind looking at me. He stood up from his seat and they walked to talk outside the classroom.
Day 2. Something is really going wrong with Chinen-san. He looks so sick and tired. Maybe there's something wrong with his family. After all he started his sentence with 'My stepfather' yesterday.
All breaks he sits at his seat. His friends doesn't come here at all. I wonder what's going on with him.
~Back to normal POV~
After school Chinen went to the mall because only there was warm. Luckily Chinen found some money from his schoolbag. He bought some food for himself and for his new little friend.
Soon it started getting darker and all the stores closed. Chinen was sitting on the bench in the park with Kou. Cold tears ran down his cheeks.
He looked up and saw white snowflakes dropping down on the ground. He closed his eyes. Felt like for a while but when he opened them, he realize someone carrying him in the house in bridal style. He struggeled out of embrance and person couldn't force him to stay and let go of him.
Chinen looked at the person in fear and realize that the one carrying him is his bully victim and classmate, no other than Yamada. "Calm down." He said.
"What are you doing? Are you going to secretly kill me while I'm sleeping!?" Chinen exlaimed.
"Actually I was just helping you..." Yamada said as he removed his jacket.
"Helping...me?" "Yes, baka." "Who you called baka!? And I didn't asked you to help me!"
"Please don't yell. Everyone are sleeping, you will wake them up. If you don't need help, go and sleep there outside if you want."
Chinen should not be selfish this time and accept the fact that he doesn't have the place where to go. He should be nice or else he will die outside.
Yamada lead Chinen to his room. He started seaching some clothes for Chinen while that one stood further from him.
Yamada found some of his old clothes that would fit Chinen. He handed him the clothes.
"Why you're doing this?" Chien asked while receiving Yamada's clothes.
"You can't sleep in your uniform and I don't want you to sleep with those dirty clothes in my bed."
"No... I mean why you're even caring about me? I was rude towards you all these years."
"I'm not that heartless to leave someone on the streets."
Chinen changed clothes that Yamada gave him and placed himself in the bed.
Yamada followed to lie beside him.
"Wait, we are going to sleep in the same bed?" Chinen wondered.
"Sorry, we're too poor for the special guestroom." Yamada said in a little bit angry tone and lied himself beside chibi.
Chinen felt quilty. He draw blanket to cover half of his face. The bed was small for both of them. Yamada should lie on his left side while Chinen on his back. Chinen could feel his his warm breath and he even heard his hearbeat.
The beat beckoned him to move closer to remove even the smallest space between them. Older boy wondered as latter was attached to him. He realise that smaller was completely cold. All what he could do was embrace him to warmer him.
"Yamada-san..." said Chinen calmly "What?" Yamada curiously asked him.
"I'm sorry. For all that.'' "Just forget about it."
"Yamada-san" "Hmmm?"
"...Thank you..."
"No problem"
Clock ticked, Chinen still couldn't get a sleep. Everything was new for the boy. Every sound in the house was different to what he's not used to. He heard each sound from the outside. Wind, traffic, dog's barking, every possible sound.
But only one sound could win these and calm him down. It was older boys lovely heartbeat he listened to all the time.
Both of them didn't notice as they fell into a deep sleep.

A high voice made them wake up in the morning. "Ryosuke wake up!!" Voice yelled.
Both of them moaned and girl who was yelling to him earlier ran away shouting. "Mama! There's a boy with Ryosuke in the bed!!"
"Aghh...'' Ryosuke moaned.
''Ohayou.'' greet Ryosuke as he noticed that Chinen was awaken as well. ''Ohayou.'' Chinen replied with a slight red face.
''Let's go before they get a wrong idea." Said Ryosuke while Chinen nod slightly and both of them started to get up.

Yamada and Chinen entered the kitchen room where was Ryosuke's little sister and his mother.
''Ka-chan. This is my classmate.'' Yamada introduced chibi to his mother.
''Hajimemashite. Chinen Yuri desu.''
''Ah~. What a cute boy! Hajimemashite.''
''Is it okay, if he stay here for a few days?'' Yamada asked.
''Of course. We'll be always happy to let Ryosuke's friend in our house.'' Mrs. Yamada smiled.
''Are you okay? You look sick.'' Mrs. Yamada asked as she noticed Chinen leaning his head to his hand.
''I'm fine.'' Chinen responded.
Yamada pressed his palm against Chinen's forehead to confirm his words.
''Your forehead burns like fire. You definitely have fever!'' He exlaimed.
''No, I'm fine.''
''Go back to bed.'' Chinen sighed and walked back to Ryosuke's room. He layed himself on the bed, wrapped the blanket around him and closed his eyes.
Suddenly he remember something he forgot earlier. He jumped up and ran to the hallway to wear his shoes. Quickly he ran to the building he was in earlier and searched for something.
''KOU!'' He yelled his pet's name.
He checked the box and he felt so reliefed as he found puppy sleeping in the box. ''I'm sorry.'' He said and took the puppy on his lap ''I won't leave you again.''
***
''Here is your breakfast.'' Yamada enter his room with a tray in his hands. His eyes got wider as he realize that boy was no longer in his room. He paniced. He put tray with the food on the table and looked for a boy around the house.
Unluckily he didn't found him no where. Yamada heard as someone came into the house.
''CHINEN!!!'' He shout as he saw the boy. In his voice couldn't hear happiness, he was more angry. ''Are you crazy!? Where did you go!?''
''I'm sorry, I only...'' ''You scared a hell out of me!!'' Yamada immediately hugged latter. But immediately he release it as he felt something odd. He realize that boy was holding a puppy in his hands. ''A puppy?''
''Can I keep him? He's my bestfriend, please?'' ''I think ka-chan won't mind. Return to the bed please.''
Yamada helped Chinen to lay on the bed. He take a hold of a soft blanket and covered Chinen's small body with it. Kou jumped on the bed, lie beside boy.
''Do you want anything?'' Yamada asked with a gentle voice.
Chinen shook his head slightly. He curled more into a blanket and closed his eyes to fall asleep again. Yamada looked at him. His bangs were covering half of his face so Yamada removed them on the side with his finger.
He moved closer to him and closer until their faces were only few centimetres apart. Chinen felt how the warm breath of the older boy came straight to his face but he still keps his eyes shut. A slight pink blush started to form on his soft pink cheek.
''May I...?'' Yamada softly whispered.
''You're still here!?'' Mrs. Yamada opened door and entered the room. Yamada quickly jumped up and looked at his mother.
''I will stay at home today. I have to take care of Chinen-san.'' He responded.
''No, you go to school! I think Chinen-san is enough adult to take care of himself.''
''Go or you'll be late.'' She continued.
Yamada stood and stared at his mother. She started feel a bit weird because of the athmosphere. She took a hold of Yamada's wrist and pulled him to the front door.
''Ka-chan, wait!'' ''You'll be late!'' She continued on pulling him.
''I have to change my clothes!'' ''AH?'' Mrs. Yamada looked at Ryosuke from up to down.
''Then go and change! Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!'' Yamada only rolled his eyes as he returnes to his room. He changed his clothes and packed his bag. Then he quickly gave a kiss on Chinen's forehead and left for school.

Mrs. yamada and other family members left the house as well. Was a silence in the whole house, only could hear the clock ticking.
''Why everything turned out to be like this?''
Chinen thought.
He fell asleep once again for a couple of hours. When he woke up the clock was already 1pm.
Chinen ate his breakfast that Yamada brought to him and wandered around the house last few hours.
''Tadaima~!'' Chinen heard familiar voice yelling.
''Chinen~!?'' Again a yell was made.
''I'm in the diningroom!'' Chinen shout to older boy.
''How do you feel?'' Yamada asked him as he reached the diningroom.
''Much better.'' Chinen responded.
''That's good. Did you eat something?'' Chinen nodded slightly and Yamada touched his forehead..
''Hmm. It's so different from the morning. Still you better to be at home tomorrow's too!''
Chinen let a little pout shown on his face as he heard what eldest said. Yamada only chucked and stroked his hair.
''I want to go outside.'' Chinen said.
Yamada sighed. He didn't wanted to let him outside for his own good. Just like he was his father. But he has to remember that he's not and he can't force latter to stay inside. Once again he let a big sigh.
''Why not.'' And a wide smile formed on smallers lips.
Yamada had never seen his smile before this close. He smiled back at him and brought outdoor clothes for him. Yamada helped him to wear every single garment, coat, wooly hat, scarf and mittens.
He didn't know why he kept treating him like he's someone really important to him. Chinen didn't minded older's actions, he actually liked that he's being so nice and caring towards him. At least it's something he never had experienced before.
They walked beside each other, their feets sinking in the white thick snow. By inches Chinen drawled his hand toward older but the one who made their hands go onto a single was Yamada.
Chinen looked shyly on the ground. When he held older boy's hand, the feeling was just so amazing. Scarcely he could ever break this touch.
"Hey look! That's Chinen with... that guy." Two guys were walking as well outside and they noticed a couple they didn't expected to see.
"Eeh!?" Both of them were friends of Chinen. In the past.
"Chinen with penurous! Chinen with penurous!" Those boys sang as they pointed at both of them.
"SHUT UP!!!" Chinen yelled at them.
"So what if he's not rich, huh!? At least he has something that you will never buy with your crappy money!"
"Yeah? And what is it?" One of them asked annoyed.
"Heart. Kind and lovely one." Chinen shout and pulled Yamada away from the boys.
"A heart? hahaha you must be kidding me!" Both of them just burst into laughter as these just walked further.
"Chii." Yamada spoke suddenly.
"Un?" Smaller responded.
"Thank you."
"Huh? Ah... You're welcome..." Said Chinen with a little pink blush.
"Do you want to tell me what's going on with your family?"
Chinen sighed as he told what happened to him lately. Yamada understood his situation. He knew from the beggining that there's nothing good to do with his family especially now.
"Look Chii." Yamada pointed at white snowflakes dropping from the sky.
"Aren't they beautiful?"
Chinen looked at them and slowly nodded.
Yamada grabbed smallers hand with his. As latter didn't react and still gazed at snowflakes, Yamada placed his right hand on his cheek. It was cold but his hand was really warm.
Yamada pulled Chinen closer as he himself leaned down until their lips were touching.
