A goukon is something like a blind group date, I guess. A boy and a girl are friends. They decide to hold a goukon. The boy invites his boyfriends while the girl invites her girlfriends. So those who are being invited does not know who else will be coming except the hosts.

A goukon is basically a group 'date' to get yourself a lover XD On a sec though, I think WIKI would do better explaining than me :/
