Oh my family

Tonight I read on Facebook that my grandfather's cat, who has lived with my family for the past 9 years, had to be put to sleep. While that in itself is sad, I can't decide whether or not I'm more upset that I first learned on Facebook. Oh but when I checked my email, there was a brief one from my mom kind of mentioning it, though I learned more

I so hear you on this one. I find out important things about my family through facebook all the time. When they were in Syracuse, you probably knew more about them than I did until things got posted on facebook lol.

I learned that my family dog died on Facebook, so my commiserations on that. For all that we hear about kids these days and the death of manners, it seems to be The Olds who are struggling with this etiquette...
