so, y'know, skip it if you don't want to read about that.

Add peanut butter or nuts to your oatmeal on oatmeal days, and switch to eggs a few days a week. But you may not want to do eggs as your protein on all days because of the cholesterol. Also, nuts/peanut butter have very good fats.

Greek yogurt is a very good option. Eldest child does smoothies with Greek yogurt and protein powder and almond milk and frozen fruit and loves them.

I don't like peanut butter unless I'm making spicy peanut sauce. I also don't like crunchy chunks in my oatmeal. And it's not dietary cholesterol that the body uses to make its own cholesterol, it's saturated fats. So if I don't go overboard on the butter for cooking the eggs, I'm good, especially since my cholesterol is basically not an issue.

I'm also not a huge fan of smoothies, unless it's very hot out and I can't look at food generally -- and even then I'd rather make cucumber dill yogurt soup in the blender than a smoothie. So the trick will be finding the right additives to the Greek yogurt to make it something I want to eat.

...hmm. Considering that I'm making an internal yuck-face at all of the potential sweet additions to Greek yogurt, what I ought to do is go to the local Penzey's and check out their seasoning blends, buy some celery, cut it into sticks, and call it dip.
