Well, after trying to find a good deal on ebay, I have finally broken down and bought an iBook from Apple. It's a 900mhz G3 with the combo drive. I have been recenly looking at the purchase of an Apple iBook. Not one of the newer G4's or even a newer G3, but one of those clamshell ones that commonly go by the name of Blueberry, Tangerine etc. The reason I want one is two fold, to learn the Mac OS, so I might one day be rid of the IBM Compatible trap, and to have something I can take with me ( Read more... )

I know its Friday the thirteenth and all but today is a good day... I received my Federal Tax return today. So it is a happy day.

I got my State Tax refund yesterday. Yay! Took all of seven days from the time it was accepted to the time I received money. Now I'm just waiting for the Feds to give me money and things will look pretty good. I still need to purchase plane tickets and reserve a room for Megaplex. I went to one of those goverment auctions, you know the ones... buy a car for a dollar and all that. It was given by the treasury department and had quite a bit of stuff.
