Why did you list Netherlands stuff under Germany? XD I'm tempted to move to Germany once I'm done with school and stuff. I have to go on exchange for my major at some point, so I'll see how I like it there.
I probably shouldn't post this, but I was really interested in what you had to say on this subject. It appears pretty obvious to me that by what you posted you haven't ever been out of the US. I realize that all of the problems you have with the US do have at least some basis, but you seem to be going on the assumption that other places are somehow better. While I do think in some ways other places are better, and that the US is by no means the best comprehensive place to live in, I can tell you having lived and traveled over much of the world the assumptions you're making about other places while statistically could be true aren't as pleasant and wonderful as you're assuming. Now, I can't speak about Australia/New Zealand or Iceland having never been to them, but as for the rest, they are far from paradise. I know this after having lived in the UK and Korea and visiting the rest. Norway, for example, has the highest cost of living in the world, and a terrible crime problem in Oslo, surprising but true.
