It's got potential, I think! There's still a lot of vagueness about what the long term plot is and whether I'll stick with it probably depends on how cool/not cool that turns out to be. But I like the characters! And the dialogue is pretty snappy!
Righto! Six kids (picture an updated version of the Breakfast Club) are invited to attend the prestigious Morning Glory Academy. Only they arrive there to find that things are a little off. They all have the same birthday, their parents seem to have forgotten who they are, and the faculty doesn't care much about putting them in mortal danger. Pretty soon it also becomes apparent that they aren't allowed to leave and that the headmaster, who ever he is, has a plan for them, at least some of them, the ones that survive.
That's it in a nutshell! The overall plot of the series remains a bit fuzzy at the moment, since there are only 5 issues so far, but it's cleverly written, and the kids represent a wide range of character types and are all pretty interesting (or almost all at any rate).
Sounds interesting. I'll to grab the first issue and see what I think. It'll give me something interesting to read since my faith in X-Men is non-existent once again. -_-;
Speaking of comics... I'm going back through your old icon posts and snagging some of the YA icons you've made. :)
