I actually managed to break my leg by jogging on a treadmill due to my 250lb weight. It was a compression fracture of the proximal surface of the right tibia... it was a bitch for them to find, and ZOMG, it hurt like hell.
Biking is good, walking on the streets or treadmill is good.. but be cautious of the higher impact exercises. I'm older than you by a bit, sure... so YOU might be able to pull it off. I couldn't, and it set me back.
Just be careful. :)

I was glad to see that you're losing weight -- good luck! Kudos in particular for making time for exercise.

I'm also joining the weight loss club after the holidays. New job has gotten me to a weight that makes my eyes bleed when I look at the scale so it's time to change.
I'm lucky enough to have a crazy high metabolism though...when I do physical work that is.
Keep up the good work! Tiny Rikki will be sooner than you think :D
