An Explanation for Why I'm So Upset Lately

So yeah, a lot of people have noticed (mainly people in the RL and folks who follow me on Twitter) that I'm kind of in the middle of a pretty bad nervous breakdown lately. The combination of stress and depression are really doing a number on me, and unfortunately it's making it hard to deal with things when I've got so much to worry about ( Read more... )

Man, that just really blows. Taxes on top of everything... I wish I were in a position to be able to loan you a few thousand but I don't have things that together yet. I want to offer you a place to stay but I realize it's not practical since your friends are over there, and where would you even find the money for a move that far? But if it ever does look like a valid option, let me know and I can always clear a room for you, okay? Wish I could do more to help. Hope things work out.

I'm sorry Rikoshi. I wish I could help, but e-snugs are about all I can offer. I do hope things turn around for you though.

Whoa, that is a serious situation. No one can accuse you of worrying over nothing. I've been hit with some unpleasant tax surprises in my years, too, so I feel for ya.

I wish I could help more. Only thing I can offer is advice: figure out your strategy based on priorities. Also, get that company that owes you to pay up; cash in paw is useful. (Even if it's paying only a portion of a bill, it may demonstrate good faith and give you negotiating room.)

*hugs* Wow.

I wish I could do more than offer prayers, thoughts and well-wishes, my friend. But if ever you need to bend an ear, you know where to find me.

I owe you that much.

My offer for the Celtics game stands. No cost to you (other than getting there, and hell, I'll even pay you for that to make it easier) You need a night off, a night that is simply fun in an environment that isn't your home or your work. I speak from experience when I say that kind of evening where you INTENTIONALLY put stuff aside and enjoy the moment can let a lot of your stress go and help you handle things better come the next day.
