Sounds like a lot of fun, glad you're having a good time. :) Not sure it's something I could do, but who knows! Maybe one day!

have fun at Feral too! Tell GTSkunkrat I said hi :D

The point of karaoke is not to be a good singer; the point of karaoke is to have fun singing.

For what it's worth, I'd love to drink beer and hand-feed you poutine eat poutine with you while we took turns singing!

Oh I know it's not about the quality of singing, I've seen enough karaoke :) It's the courage bit!

A few drinks and a meal sounds as much a good time though :)

Karaoke always seemed like one of those great ideas, until I would always find myself not ever wanting to actually get up and sing.

I do enjoy going, but I still don't think it's in me to participate.

(Doin' an LCBO run tomorrow, or are you all set?)

I haven't done karaoke in way too long.

I used to be widely known for my renditions of The Immigrant Song (led Zep) and Paint It Black (Stones).

More recently, I've been applauded for my performance of The Monster Mash.

Ya gotta take the bad with the good, though. Words cannot describe the horror of witnessing a room full of schnockered German Luftwaffe butcher Yellow Submarine...

fun times, foxy!
by odd coincidence, just before I read this entry, I watched PaulShepherd do a drum cover of Limelight - in fursuit:

Take care and come home safely, sweet foxie!

I've only done karaoke once: back in October, I flew up to Portland for jirris_midvale's wedding. I insisted that a karaoke run be part of the pre-game festivities -- expressly so I could sing Meat Loaf's "Heaven Can Wait" to the happy couple.

We'll have to head out and do that some time. Is fun.
