After looking at potential scheduling options, I've decided that I'm going to hold a few time slots for Beginner Japanese Tutoring, starting in just a few weeks (exact dates TBD). They will be held online, in real time, using some combination of Skype and/or Google Hangout or some similar program setup ( Read more... )

I would be interested in this at some point, as Japanese is the next language in my que. Still working on basic Irish for now. Are you thinking of doing the modules on a weekly basis?

Also, on an unrelated note, what's the news on Unsheathed? Is it still going on?

Well, in addition to the scheduled classes I have in mind (which would be once a week), I'd be happy to do additional classes throughout the week if that's what a student was looking for.

And Unsheathed is mostly on hiatus, I guess you could say. We've been doing live episodes up at www.livestream.com/unsheathed and have been posting them to the feed slowly but surely.

Sounds good then. I do wonder if having this kind of instruction would be more effective than the high school/college courses that weren't especially so for me. I've been doing Pimsleur courses since, but after awhile, it gets old just talking to yourself.
