I have a week off over Easter - anyone have ideas for fun and frolics? Anyone want a Rik visit? Anyone have a suggestion for history I can go look at? Considering the Wallace Collection and the V&A in London...

I'll be in London from the 16th to 21st April. Does that coincide with your planned trip at all?

Sadly no - 16th I'm in Tintern, doing a living history/re-enactment jolly then am working the week after before heading to Maelstrom for LRP goodness the weekend of the 22nd...

Boo! Ah well... still hoping to make it to Maelstrom at some point this year.

If you find it easier to fly into Birmingham earlier or later for an event we do have a spare room and welcome guests - and Maelstrom is good, though having only recently joined it I'd recommend it with provisos; go with a group and being prepared to throw yourself into things, it's hard to break into some things without support.

I cannot get to one of the events this year (down to work, damn its eyes!) but should be at the others :D
