Late Night Movies
It's almost one, meaning I probably should be going to bed relatively soon. But I want to watch a movie. Thinking about A Single Man, since I just bought it a week ago and haven't watched it yet. I also liked Avatar too... whoops!
And I didn't particularly enjoy Alice in Wonderland. I love Johnny Depp, I love Tim Burton, and I love the story... but I just didn't feel for this movie at all. I suppose I'm a bit of a "purist", but I also went in expecting something different (ie. the Alice's Adventures/Through the Looking Glass type thing, when it was in fact a sequel more or less). It looked incredible though, for sure.
One movie I would recommend if you haven't seen it would be Run Lola Run. It's German and has subtitles, but the movie isn't very dialog heavy anyway so even if you hated subtitles, it wouldn't be much of a bother.

Avatar just didn't click for me. But I was probably biased anyway when I watched it, because the "best movie ever" claim that most people said was kind of a turn-off for me.
I had very low expectations for Alice in Wonderland, but it surprised me, it was better than I expected. But it had a lot of actors in it that I love (or, well, their voices), so that was definitely nice.
I've heard of it, but I've never seen it. Yeah, I'm not much of a subtitle fan, but that doesn't sound bad. I'll keep it in mind, thanks! :D
