That sounds like fun! :) I love Tampa, lightning capital of the world! Except for the part where they didn't tell me that when the red light on teh jet ski comes on that I need to head back to shore. Suddenly, it was me, a jet ski and a whooooole bunch of lightning. But NO other boats. It was fun. :)

Thanks! Everyone has been saying the same thing. I like it too. It's been nice not to have to do my hair.

Sometimes you gotta just pack it all up and move to New York instead of waiting for New York to come to you. There's lots of jobs that you can get that you'd never find unless you were here, looking. If you're looking for a sure thing when you move to this city and you're not some investment banker or rich heiress, you're going to be disappointed, in my opinion.

If you have a couple of friends willing to lend a couch, a hand, give you some tips to start you off -- you should give it a try for a while if you want a change of pace. You'll know within a few months if you want to live here or if it's really not your style. New York has a way with people ... and sometimes it's not always pretty, but it's most definitely an experience that you will never forget, regardless of the eventual outcome.

Yeah I know and youre totally right, I just cant bring myself to put everything on the line like that. It goes against everything I was taught and my better judgment (as much as it would be nice to just let go like that). But honestly I really NEED to find a job and then move... but I WANT to just pick up and go. sigh.

So things gotten any better for you there?
