Riley,

I'll not do you the disfavour of replying in my own language when you went to the effort to write in mine. No matter how badly. When I get back, I'll tell you why this made laugh. But for the mean time, you need 'temps' not 'terme'. 'a long terme' means in the long run. You're bored of me, too?

Anyway. I did say I wouldn't. So I won't. The effort's what counts. What did Quirrel do to annoy you, anyway? And I'm alright. I have a lot of things to work out this week, but they're improving slightly. I hope you're okay, too.

I'll be back soon, though.

Professor Delame.

Professor Delame,

I wouldn't have attempted it in your language if it weren't for the hopes of making you laugh. Mission accomplished.

Apparently I am bored of you. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or not. Could have been a Freudian slip. Kidding, of course. I meant I've missed you, but obviously my French is more pathetic than I made it out to be. And I wasn't annoyed with Quirrel. I was incredibly bored, so I annoyed him. Funny how I screw up bored the one place I need it.

I'm glad to hear you're alright. And, like I attempted to say, I'm fine but rather bored. Though I suppose that's a blessing isn't it?

Riley,

Ah, I see. I was wondering why you were bored of me. I'll give you the Quirrel one as bored and annoyed are very similar words. Never mind, it was the thought that counted.

Trust me, fine and rather bored is better than me, so that's very good to know.

Professor Delame.
