Aries, the Sign of the Ram, is the first in the Western Zodiac cycle, running from March 21 to April 19. It is the cardinal Fire Sign, making those born under its influence especially energetic. Typical aspects of the Aries person include an eagerness to forge ahead and take risks, perseverance in the face of adversity, the belief that others are innocent until proven guilty, and an overall quality of leadership.
These are counterbalanced by a tendency towards intolerance, jealousy, selfishness and stubbornness as well. The Aries individual can also be an extremely poor judge of character, concerned as they are with the surface appearance of things and people. Winning for an Aries isn't everything -- it's the only thing.
Hufflepuff Ariens have an extreme abundance of energy; however, the usual Hufflepuff tendency to work hard out of duty is modified by the Aries tendency to value play over work. Therefore, expect long periods of playfulness and seeming indolence punctuated by brief, manic bursts of industry. These Hufflepuffs may also be more ambitious and socially aggressive than average, making them clear leaders in their House. Their emotional warmth, open hearts, madcap sense of humour, and quirky independence will endear them to many people, but their naivete makes for easy exploitation by more ruthless sorts of people.
Personality
One word to describe Riley is spontaneous. You can never know what mood she's going to be in. And even if you think you've figured it out, it can change at the drop of a hat. Although, this is only out of the fierce loyalty she has for the ones she loves. She used to pretend not to care, but in reality, she'd always been quick to trust. Mainly because she wanted nothing more than for someone to be there for her. Someone she could love, and not necessarily in a romantic way. Of course, she'd never admit it to herself.
Now that she's found true friendship, however, she's become a completely different person than she was younger. She no longer sees love or emotions as weaknesses and she has begun to open herself up to people, despite the chance of being hurt. She puts others before herself, and this often causes her to fly off the handle at even the slightest insult to one of her friends. Just goes to show that you shouldn't mix an Irish temper with Hufflepuff loyalty.
Important People
gryffin_ghost. "Daddy" number one and the slightly more affectionate of the two. She completely adores Nick, and one of her worst fears is disappointing him.
poison_infrench. "Daddy" number two. He tends to be more harsh with her, but she appreciates it more than she lets on. She knows he's just trying to keep her from making the same mistakes he did.
its_all_fabby. Her best friend and love of her life. Also her husband. She loves him more than anything and can't wait to spend the rest of her life with him.
giddy_like_me. Her "big brother". Gid's the one she knows she can talk to about absolutely anything, and does. He's been there for her as long as Fab has, and she loves them both equally, albeit in different ways.
r_o_s_e_w_i_n_e. Her closest female friend. Lily's the one who pushes her to succeed and makes her feel intelligent.
