this is a big post
For starters, I'll be moving back into my dorm on tuesday, this will be the 3rd year! The past few days have been busy, taking care of last minute things and whatnoters!
Well anyways, I've been missing the days when I was actually..invested in my characters. I remember 2 years ago, I would actually draw them all the time and try and work on them, but I stopped altogether this past year -facepalm- So in an attempt to fix this, I'm going to try and draw them all and put little notes and things here. Even if it's embarrassing xD Alot of this needs to be updated. Badly.
SO I'm starting with some of the characters I used to put the most effort into. Ian and Noah :D
Most of their story takes place with them as humans (started as animals) and I did think about them not having the ability to change at all, but it still kinda fits. I REALLY need to work on this xD;; I haven't since 2008 but basicly, they're inhabitants of an island (though very few of them know their is a more modern world outside of this island). The colonies(I dont know lmao) are very..one with the earth and spirits and all that junk which is why I felt it was alright to keep animal forms, even if they don't use them much. 'Healers' are the only beings with the ability to harness the natural energy which is why they're so special/desired (will go into this more when I get into Holden's half of the story) ENTER THESE GUYS

....Also this is the first time since 08 (aka ever) that I've given Noah something new to wear *shame*
-Ian (don't like his old last name, need a new one |: )
-Age: 25
-Birthday: October 7th (Haven't decided on a year still)
-In a relationship with Noah
-Is the most specialest 'healer'(need new term) ever and was chosen to 'save' everyone...like some kind of prophecy thing IDK! This scares him, he tricks Noah into leaving the island (he knew raids were going to happen) without telling anyone he knew (making Noah believe it was his idea). Obviously this backfires after awhile. Alot of people die because of this!! (dammit Ian!!)
-The ball/orb/what have you around his neck is a symbol of his healerness. They all have one. Brighter=stronger
-Was really rowdy as a kid, always tried to run away, get in trouble, etc.
-Used to have alot of anger issues. Much calmer now (ty noah)
-Two best friends growing up: Sawyer and Angel (may rename her)
-Has a sister, Harper, whom is not a healer. Doesn't meet her til their both adults.
-Wears reading glasses
-Loves loves loves cooking and baking (for noah, mostly)
-Dies and is then saved (what) by Anastasia, a spirit or something
-Noah
-Age: 20
-Birthday: February 12th
-In a relationship with Ian (SURPRISE!!!)
-Was raised by his brother, Ryan, for most of his life. Their mother died of an illness when Noah was a child.
-He was picked on alot growing up, which made him more of a recluse throughout his teen years. Started coming out of his shell when he met Ian (typical amirite?)
-Was really really interested in finding the healer's omgsecret village so he could show off/be 'cooler' to others. Nicholas, a messenger of sorts, spilled the beans on where it was located.
-Would always make up excuses to visit/spend time with Ian/etc. Always in secrecy since Ian wasn't allowed to leave/talk to anyone outside his town.
-Used to be really clingy. He still has his moments but he'll fight back and defend himself now.
-Very inquisitive. Asks alot of questions and always trying to learn more. Ian tries to be as patient as possible.
-Loves pastries/sweets/etc
-Adopts a ferret (used to be a rabbit but wanted something that he could carry around with him). Ian hates it but deals.
-He likes doing charity stuff/volunteering when they live in the 'modern' world for awhile
ahhh I don't know what else to type atm, maybe I'll update this in the future though, whenever I can think of more stuff to include.
And just for fun, I searched through old folders til I found their first official refs ever XD Sept 08
