I've always been a fan of le morte d'arthur, but that could be because I'm weird. *shrug* And, random question of the day, what country did you do your world hist. video on two years ago?

discussing cinematic gems is never random.

that particular piece of film art was on the subject of italy.

why do you ask? looking to borrow it?

I was wondering. I have to do some sort of presentation on World war I, so, of course, I think of your video. Which is, now that I think about it, really the only thing I remember about that whole lecture series. If you have it and would be willing to lend it, I'll take it.

rosencranz and guildenstern are dead...... ms.cole talks about it all the time..... i dunno but it sounds pretty cool.

heart of darkness..... this book has a lot of symboism in it... if you're going to be writing a paper on it. Its a little slow in the beeginning tho. I found it hard to get into.

My choice would be between, sense and sensibility and pride and prejudice..... but whatever you choose i cool too.

Yes, Yes, Yes. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are the two best Stoppard plays ever. You need to read them.

You shouldn't worry too much about the maths in Arcadia. It's sort of like the theories of partical physics he works into Hapgood. Yes, they are a constant metephor running throughout the entire play, but you should be able to get the gist of his meaning with or without a university degree or frizzy mad scientist hair.

As for the others, those are all really good books. I'd probably go with 'War of the Worlds' or 'Lord of the Flies' if you're looking for a quick, fun read, but with plenty of easily decoded symbolism if you decide to write a paper on it.
