I'm sure there are a billion blog posts out there, but really to all my Canadian friends please do read up at least on the basics of this Federal election, and please vote. I myself am not typically hugely into politics but I've been following for a few months now at the very least (if not longer) and I believe it's your responsibility to be aware ( Read more... )

Thanks for the links! I'm not a fan of Ignatieff, but I'm pretty sure Harper has gone insane and anything would be an improvement.

Keep an eye out for strategic voting sites. I think they'd be a great method of turning this election around if everybody uses it.

I'm not either really, but I like my Liberal MP candidate quite a bit and the NDP one not so much. Green hasn't really been big in my area either so likely not going to make the cut. I'd still choose Ignatieff over Layton though I think the NDP do need to have a voice in parliament (as well as some of the more intelligent conservatives and green party).
