Next week I get a CAT scan on Wednesday and an endoscopy on Friday. These are designed to find out if the remission is still holding. If I'm still in remission it will vindicate my oncologist's decision to try radiation in addition to chemo and his thought that he might actually be able to cure me rather than simply putting off the inevitable (

It has been a long time, old friend, and I have fallen out of touch ... partly with my own health challenges.

But I wish you well, your oncologists success in addressing your health problems, and that a long and fruitful life extends yet ahead of you, not just behind.

And that you find comfort during the process, physically and emotionally. It can be difficult on many levels.

Realized the other day that I never saw the results of your tests and it got me wondering how you have been. I hope you are well and that you are enjoying marvelous food

I still am confounding my doctors. They can't see anything but they've scraped some cells for biopsy and they are now arguing about what the results show.
