New Zealand Adventures

We are almost a week into our NZ journey and I finally have a chance to breathe a little bit and gather my thoughts - we are on a ferry, crossing from North Island to the South Island. The trip is 3 hours long and we cannot go outside due to the wind anyway. So here is the very wordy diary of our adventures.

well right now we are already thinking of our next trips - we are torn between Latvia/Russia, Argentina, India or coming back to NZ :) Also, we really want to go to Vancouver - that's more realistic, can be done over a long weekend even - are you guys interested?

It was an awesome trip. So I guess, if you read between the lines, I highly recommend checking weather reports on a regular basis :) Also, bring water proof clothing just in case anyway.

I know it was a couple years back, but do you remember any of the hostels you stayed in that you liked? We bought the Lonely Planet guide and are seeing a lot of reasonable places, but recommendations are always better.
