I woke up to a nurse’s shout and an empty bed. He was gone.
Later, I found out that he had resigned from Raira Academy and disappeared with a Saki Mikajima.
I knew this would happen.
I knew it would happen, but I still couldn’t hold back my tears.

Anri found me on the school roof. Her timing was perfect. I was just about to step off. To take that final step…
“R-Ryuugamine-kun!”
I was pulled back.
“What were you doing?!”
I stared at her with empty orbs. Her expression softened into one that you might see on a mother. She embraced me, and I cried.
“I know, Ryuugamine-kun. It hurts me, too.”
