True, Monday is a sadist. But he's always been upfront and honest about his bastardatry. He's not around to make friends, he's here to get things done. And he'd destroy a million parties if it meant that one more train would arrive on time.
Tuesday is the unfortunate soul who has to clean up after Monday, smoothing ruffled feathers and making apologies. He hates what his life has been reduced to, but is trapped in an achingly suburban apathy from which he cannot escape. He cries every night while eating his T.V. dinners, and blames the Hallmark commercials. He will never be cool.
Wednesday is was the slow one. It shuffled to work, stood there silently with its arms crossed, and then crept home. It knew the other days were cleverer than it was, but at the end of the day their cleverness could not stop the sun from setting anymore than Wednesday broad shoulders could. Time was to be endured, and the best way to do that was to keep your head down and show up when you were supposed to
