Description is very important to me as well. My, um, mentor, you could say, loves description, so I guess that rubbed off on me, too. I try my best. :)

Oh, that's good! I was afraid that it would seem too...broken up. The plot, I mean. After all, I adore flashbacks and...sometimes overuse them.

Thank you for the suggestions! I'll keep that in mind the next time I write something in first person.

Haha, unfortunately, I don't. ^^;; This was written as an "audition" for a position on my school newspaper, so it was meant as a sort of one-shot.

Oh, don't worry about the lengthy comment--I adore reading long reviews. ^^
