Well, I noticed a couple of my sim children had LTWs. I know this was a bad sign, and instead of looking for and asking for a solution, I just decided to uninstall ALL of my expansion packs and reinstall them. I downloaded meetme2theriver 's Uberhood (which I've never had a problem with before) and the skin tone defaults I like, but THAT'S IT. Yet still Sally ( Read more... )

Daniel Bell comes with a LTW, actually, and as does Pauline Aspir (both in Desiderata Valley). It's an EAxis bug, and I couldn't figure out how to safely get rid of them. But they should be harmless, it's not having a LTW that's harmful, but the reason behind can be.

I'm not sure why Sally Riley would have a LTW, though... But I absolutely would not recommend deleting the families. If you do it must be done safely, NOT through the regular ingame method, and because they have so many family ties it's difficult. I'd say just play and see if anything else strange happens, it's possible it's entirely harmless.

BTW, 'hood specific problems generally aren't fixed by reinstalling. Reinstalling is only necessary if your actual game files become corrupt (skins and hairs go missing, certain actions always make your game crash, etc).

Thanks for your help! I think I wanted an excuse to reinstall anyway:P

By delete, I meant kill them off and then recreate them. I know they wouldn't have the relationships and funds as they did, but it didn't really bother me too much. Sometimes I'm very OCD about my sims, and sometimes I'm very lax:P

Oh, no worries then, I just didn't want you to do something that WILL blow up your 'hood. :)

I'm pretty much always way too OCD about everything in my game, haha.
