I once had the privilege of seeing her play at a house party in an Oakland Hills mansion. It was fantastic. She invited us (me + evil ex) to her cousin's house in Santa Cruz for another house party later that weekend. So So So Awesome. She is one of my favorite musicians and it's nice to know she's a really sweet person as well.
At the time I met her I was living in a chicken coop. This amused her endlessly. FACTOID.
